Macyn is 1 month old!!

I can't believe one month has already flown by!!
Seems like yesterday, I was in labor and having Macyn

I've had some ups and downs this past month but I'm happy where my family is now and even though I still am not back up to where I'd like to be, I'm on my way to getting back to normal.

Macyn's weight:
Birth: 7lb 9oz
Leaving hospital: 7lb 1oz
One week checkup: 7lb 4oz
Two week checkup: 7lb 12oz
One month checkup: 8lb 9oz

She is doing amazing at breastfeeding and eats normally every 3-4 hours, but really its whenever she wants. At night she is great at eating and going right back to sleep so it's not quite as bad since we're normally not up for TOO long.

She only cries when she wants/needs something so that has been a joy because I have two loud children and having a quiet baby has been a blessing.

Madison is like a 4yr old mommy, always wanting to hold her, touch her head, talk to her, just be around her in general. She's a great help when it comes to little things, and its very appreciated even though I don't think she understands that

McKenzie had to warm up to having a new baby, but now she loves her incredibly and while she isn't all over her, the love she shows is so sweet and genuine and amazing to watch.

Besides getting all of us ready to leave the house, I think it's so much easier than I thought to have three children. Since Madison is 4, she can do most things herself, and McKenzie will be 3 in May so she doesn't need as much either and that makes it easier because I forgot how much a newborn needs and have had to get used to that as well.

The day before I went in to labor, I weighed 229lbs at my check up.
I gained a total of 14lbs during my pregnancy.
Now I have lost a lot more than that weighing in at 200lbs.

I changed from the 100s to 200s while I pregnant with Madison and have never seen the 100s since then and I am excited to hopefully soon be back under 200lbs!! I think the breastfeeding has a lot to do with it, and I'm trying to drink a lot of water. Plus my husband now works days instead of nights so we eat healthier than we did before. I'm not trying to loose a whole bunch of weight, but I'd like to be more healthy and let my body naturally adjust and we'll see where that takes me! :)

She is precious! Nursing REALLY helps with the weight loss. I loss all my pregnancy weight and some, but after I stopped nursing it all came back :(
(I had gastional diabetes during pregnancy so I was very limited to what I could eat. And I must have made up for it AFTER baby was born to have gained all the weight back!)
