Toy State, Blazerz Car Review & Giveaway 6/27

Founded in 1984, Toy State is an innovator and an industry leader in the manufacture of licensed and highly stylized lights and sound vehicles. Toy State’s core portfolio includes Road Rippers® lights and sound vehicles, as well as Cat® and Cat® Preschool lights and sound construction toys. Working in-step with the world’s leading automakers, and Caterpillar, the leading manufacturer of construction equipment, Toy State products provide hours of enjoyment for kids of all ages.

I had no idea what Toy State was sending, but they knew the age of our girls, so the wait was on for the package to arrive. They sent some Cat®  Preschool toys, as well as a Blazerz car. I will be doing a separate review for the great Cat®  Preschool toys, because today I'm telling you about the Blazerz cars, as well as attaching a giveaway at the end.

We received the black sports car and as you can see in the picture, it lights up. As soon as the girls went to bed the night it arrived, I had to pull it out and see what it did! I knew this car would be a perfect for my girls as soon as I saw it.

When McKenzie unwrapped it, she immediately started pushing the buttons, testing out what they did, and then wanted it open so she could play with it.

This car as many great features. There's five buttons on top of the car that make the lights, sounds, and for it to actually go. One button makes the car go forward, one button is backwards, one button is a horn, one button is a voice talking and wheels peeling out, and the last is just music. All these buttons accompany lights where the brakes are, as well as the headlights, and the orange areas you see (above)

This car is recommended for ages 6+ but I think that's too high. McKenzie just turned three and knows how to use this car correctly, and what the purpose for all the buttons are. She plays with it just like a 6 yr old would. Madison is 4 1/2 and I also feel she's mature enough for this car.

This car has been through normal wear and tear in our household, and its holding up great. It mainly gets ran in to our kitchen cabinets because the girls like our floor in there vs. the carpet. It doesn't go too fast, which is great because then it doesn't get away from you, and only goes a few feet with every push of the button.

These cars retail for $24.99 on Amazon

I think this is a great price for all that it does, and retails for about the same as similar cars I've seen in stores.
