Julep Maven Box Review & Giveaway ends 7/26

Julep is a boutique nail salon, but we are so much more. We are the place where girlfriends can come share a fun moment and get the best nail application. We're a place that makes innovative and healthy nail colors and hand and foot care products.

I was told to pick which Maven set I liked best I fell in love with the gorgeous blue you see above!

I normally only wear pink, but I knew I had to try these colors!

Inside my Classic With A Twist Maven box was The Best Pedi Creme Ever! wich exfoliates with alpha hydroxy acids, hydrates with shea butter and coconut oil, and nourishes with vitamin E. The two color's formal names are Robin, robin's egg blue creme and Rose, juicy, watermelon red creme.

With it being Summer, I was thrilled to try The Best Pedi Creme Ever because my feet take a beating! I wear flip flops from March to October so my feet are always exposed which in turn give me rough, dry, and cracked heels. Pedicures here are $30 and the soft smooth feeling only lasts for 3 or 4 days, so it kind of seems like a waist to me. The day this creme arrived, I patiently waited until bedtime and then rubbed it on my feet. The next morning I woke up and they felt.... different. I wasn't really sure what it was but they didn't feel so dry as I walked around my house.

I choose to apply the creme at night like suggested, and after a few days I noticed that they looked and felt so much better. My deep cracks on my heels weren't as noticeable, my feet weren't catching on the blankets at night, and the felt softer.

After a week straight of the Pedi Creme, I chose to skip a night to see what happened. I couldn't tell much of a difference so I went several nights without the creme and everything that was fixed came back. The yucky flaky dry feet were back and I was anxious to get rid of it all again!

The girls love polish and were all too excited at the though of some new colors coming in the mail!
I lucked out because Madison wanted Rose, and McKenzie wanted Robin.

The above pictures of Madison and McKenzie's feet are one week after the polish was applied.
My nails are also pictured above one week after polish was applied.

I bought some clear polish in hopes of making the polish last longer and actually made it worse. The clear polish was applied to the blue on my nails and Madison's toe nails.

As you can see one week later, my blue is very chipped as well as Madison's toes. I think in this case the clear polish wasn't a good buy for me so I'm glad I could see on McKenzie's toes and the red on my nails that this polish can stand up to a lot!

It's been about 3 weeks since I painted Macyn's toe nails and they're just now starting to chip. Then again, she can't walk or anything so I knew it would last a long time since most polish does for her.

One big plus is that it dries very quickly! It's ideal for kids, especially Macyn, because just a few minutes and they're good to go! No need to sit for 15 minutes or longer.

I highly recommend Julep and their amazing Maven boxes like the one I reviewed, as well as many of their other great colors!

I love the colors! I do not like polish that won't last past a week though and with all the housework I do it would be gone sooner than that for me. Thanks!
