From our humble beginnings in 1989, to our full-color, full-size catalog of today, Magic Cabin has been guided by the simple notion that children's lives are enriched by ample time for open-ended, creative, imaginative play. We believe in good-old-fashioned make believe and in children's innate need to interact with simple, natural toys and crafts.
Our girls LOVE books. Since my husband works so much, if he makes it home at night, he reads books to our girls at bed time. He also takes them to the library often to get new books and have father/daughters time
Two years ago, one of my sisters thought it would be a good idea to give us a whole tote full of her kids' hand me down books. While very much appreciated, its become clear that its a lot for our girls to handle.
In an effort to help with the clutter of all the books, I asked Magic Cabin if I could review this adorable book rack! I thought it was really cute and hopefully would be the answer to our clutter issue and also give me a reason to sort through the books and figure out which ones were age appropriate.
I am happy to say that this book rack was pretty simple to put together!
I waited a few days until my husband was off to put it together, but then I decided I would give it a shot and got it up pretty quickly.
Obviously it won't hold a full tote worth of books, but I let the girls grab books and fill it up. I think it could possibly hold more, but I'm not sure how much I should push it since its just fabric.
We did have the issue with our girls trying to climb on it and play on it, but over all it seems pretty sturdy. I really like colors of the panels, and feel that its a great mixture of pastels, but also has a girly feel to it with the pink and purple.
This book rack comes in the pastel colors shown above, or bold primary colors.
You can also personalize it with a name up to ten letters.
Since we have multiple children however, I chose to leave that part off.
The size is 28" x 25" x 12"
Retail Value: $69.98
If you're looking for something like this for your child's room or playroom (where we have our's) I highly recommend checking out Magic Cabin! I do think the price is a little high, but its all wood so that makes it a little better than normal cheap plastic that most things are now.
They also have MUCH MUCH more for every room of the house and many things great for children!
