Over The Meadow Play Mat from Imagine Toys Review

Imagine Toys is a specialty toy store guided by a mission of providing quality toys that encourage children to use their imaginations. We're picky about the toys we select and strive to offer unique toys and accessories that are fresh and different from what you might find at a mass-market toy store. Imagine Toys buyers are parents themselves and have taken the time to test products with children of appropriate age to make sure our products offer plenty of fun and educational play value.

HABA is the maker of this play mat you see above. They started in 1938 by making wooden toys, and now focus on trying to give the most out of each toy for your child's interest and development.

I think my favorite feature of this play mat is the house. There are two magnets in the roof to keep it together when upright, and the door easily moves open and shut to allow play with the little bunnies.
The "water" as shown above, has three little marbles under the mesh, the make for a different feel, sound, look, and to engage the child in a new object.
The carrots make the crinkling sound which is always a plus for babies and they're brightly colored and sit behind the bunny house. The whole mat is plush and soft to the touch which is great for floor time.

You can also fold this mat in half and tuck the bunnies inside which is great for when you're on the run. Nice toy to take to grandma's house because its small and when folded, takes up no room at all.

I like that each section has a different look, feel, and theme to it but its also kind of boring at the same time.

This play mat retails on the Imagine Toys website for $99.95 which is way beyond what I assumed the value would be. I personally wouldn't pay over $15 for this mat, but I know there's others that gladly pay the retail value.

Check out the Imagine Toys website today for the other great products they carry by HABA, as well as the variety of other toys, games, and accessories!

The mat is ADORABLE! I agree with you, though. I wouldn't pay $100 for it. I didn't even pay $100 for the baby furniture. :)
