the pecking order: maternity shirt review

Zoey’s Attic officially launched in November 2006 by creator and owner, Erin Delanty. The inspiration for the website came shortly after my husband and I, welcomed the birth of our first child, Bridget, in August of that year. Bridget offiially became a big sister herself in May of 2008 and the inspiration continues! Zoey’s Attic sold its first shirt just two days after launching the website and development has expanded based on the initial and continuing positive response.

This shirt comes in non-maternity and maternity in short sleeves.
You can add long sleeves for $5.
Retail Value: $24.50

As soon as I seen this shirt, I fell in love. It was hilarious and it definitely fit my situation since I've always said that Chloe would be my last child. The shirt was shipped off on August 27th. As soon as I seen the mailman drive up on August 30th, I ran down a hill through hurricane rain to see if my shirt had arrived, and it did. It was very securely packaged on the outside and wrapped in a cute little ribbon on the inside. There was also a business card and washing instructions neatly packed on top of the shirt.

As soon as I took off all the wrapping, I tried it on and it fit perfectly. I ordered a Medium and it was true to its size. The words sat right above my breasts are were easy to read. I also loved that the lettering is ink instead of the plastic/vinyl that some shops use.

I knew I wouldn't be able to wait until that weekend to tell family, so we went that same day to share the news. Everyone loved the shirt and thought it was just as hilarious as I did. As soon as I got home, I shared the news with facebook friends by posting this picture.

It was a huge success and I would recommend to everyone.
