Ouidad's NEW Moisture Lock Define & Shine Gel-Cream

Our newest styling technology created to bring out and add definition to waves & curls Unique botanical and vitamin enriched complex infuses hair with a dose of moisture that plumps the hair shaft, helping it maintain its natural curl pattern, promoting definition Styling Gel-Cream that keeps curls hydrated, defined, soft and shiny all day Non-sticky formula easily glides onto hair without weighing it down

I was interested in this Ouidad Gel Cream because of Madison's curls.

She has these really pretty curls in the front of her hair, but they get frissy, and just plain wild! Sometimes I can't do anything with them and they're just there, in her face. There's been times she's went to leave with my husband and he said "Go brush you hair" but in truth, I just had.

Bouncing Babies Review & Giveaway Thirsties Duo Wrap 6/9

My name is Megan and I am a co-owner of Bouncing Babies. I guess the basics that you need to know about me is that I’m a married Mom Mom of 2 beautiful children and we live in Washington. I have a son who has just turned 2 this past July, and a daughter who was born this past May. Up until taking over Bouncing Babies with Stacey, I was a stay at home Mom Mom. As you can tell, my son picked out my title, and I’ll forever be known as Mom Mom. My children are truly the light of my life, and while I’m blessed to be their Mom Mom, I have always wanted to own my own business. I never really knew what kind of business I wanted to own, until I discovered my passion for cloth diapering. I started cloth diapering my son when he was about 7 months old, and have been cloth diapering my daughter since day 1. As someone who thought that cloth diapering was overwhelming, and to be honest gross to care for, I’m the biggest advodocate of helping people who are curious learn the realities of modern cloth diapering. I feel incredibly blessed to have this opportunity at this time in my life and look forward to meeting and working with all of our fabulous customers! Hi I’m Stacey and I am a co-owner of Bouncing Babies as well. I am a mom to two beautiful little girls. My oldest is almost 5 and my youngest is 2. My husband and I have been married for 8 years and live in Minnesota. I am very passionate about cloth diapers and knew I wanted to own a cloth diaper business shortly after we started cloth diapering my 2nd baby. I used that as a great excuse to try just about every major brand of cloth diaper out there as well as many accessories! Some might say I was a bit of a cloth diaper addict! We won’t talk about exactly how many diapers I had in my stash! ;-) Anyway, I enjoy spending time with my family. We absolutely love to travel and try to travel as much as we possibly can. In my own free time, I enjoy playing sports and play softball through the spring, summer and fall! I look forward to getting to know all of you better! Collectively, we have approximately 4 years of experience with cloth diapering. We initially met through cloth diapering forums, and truly value the community that is cloth diapering. We hope to foster this environment and support each of you in persuing your interest in using cloth.

Shake, Rattle, & Roll *Sponsor Spotlight* Fun Bites, Toddler Package

At meals we would spend so much time cutting food into small shapes. Wouldn't it be easier if there was something we could just press down into their food and bippity boppity boo!...food would be made into bite-sized pieces? Maybe our kids would try new foods and eat better; maybe mealtime could be less stressful and more fun.

Shake, Rattle, & Roll, *Sponsor Spotlight* Kidorable, Toddler Package

In 1997, Kidorable sprung from the minds, hearts and efficiency apartment of Liping and Jonathan Domsky. They proclaimed, "The world needs someone to create children's apparel and accessories that are both functional and fun. We can do that." And so Kidorable was conceived. Starting with lions and cats and bears, oh my, manifested as umbrellas and hangers, Kidorable generated enough sales during its first year to break even and plant fruitful Kidorable seeds throughout the land. The following year sales grew ten fold. Every year since, give or take, a new style and/or product line debuted. And every year, the world joyfully embraced more Kidorable delights, give or take, than the year before. Children, it turns out, absolutely and unconditionally love Kidorable (almost as much as their parents and other children-loving grown-ups do.) In its first three years, Kidorable grew from a hopeful startup to a thriving business with $2 million in sales. Ever since, Kidorable has continued to blossom, evolving into a flourishing global enterprise, contributing to the success of dozens of sales professionals and thousands of retailers, with sales projected to exceed $15 million by 2015. Throughout its first decade, the key to Kidorable's success has been growth. But not growth simply in the financial sense. For the ultimate Kidorable customers - kids - it's all about growing imaginations. For Kidorable's employees, it's all about nurturing personal and professional growth. And for everyone touched by Kidorable, it's about growing smiles. For Kidorable, growing larger is a natural and happy consequence of growing better, individual by individual. Today Kidorable is a striking presence, not just in stores, but across the vast landscape of the children's apparel and accessories industry. By encouraging personal and professional growth in the service of imagination and smiles, Kidorable's own growth projections continue to soar.

Shake, Rattle, & Roll *Sponsor Spotlight* I See Me Personalized Books, Toddler Package

Welcome to I See Me! where we provide the highest quality, most personalized children's books available. We opened for business in May of 2000, after a year of active product development. My husband Allan and I received a personalized book as a gift for our first son in 1998. While we loved the fact that it was personalized, we thought that the illustrations could have been much better and the story more customized to the child. Thus I See Me! was born.

Animals bring letters one by one to spell out your child's first and last name in rhyme! At the end, they celebrate because they have created the perfect name for the child.

Our girls love books!! They go to the library every week with my husband and check out new books. We read to them every night after getting ready for bed, and that is their routine. Books are a big part of our lives because we both feel that reading is the best way for them to learn and there's nothing better than watching your child get excited at story time! They actually have an over flowing large tote of books in their playroom because we need a book case!

With McKenzie's birthday fast approaching (May 29) I decided to get My Very Own Name for her. She has not received this book yet because it's her special present that she'll open on her birthday. As soon as it arrived however, I read the story.

I was unsure of the prices of their books because they're pretty high, retailing at $25-$40. When I took the book out of the package I was quite surprised. It's a nice thick, glossy hardback book with  amazing art. The pages are also thick, a huge plus when you're involving children. I do not like thin, flimsy pages on books because they're quickly ripped and no good without being covered in tape.

The point of this book is that the animals are celebrating the birth of the baby and they go through the forest to spell out the perfect name. You provide your child's first and last name, and the different animals go through and spell it. I also pointed out the capital K in her name and it was correct in the book :)

I See Me offers such a variety of books to choose from! They have sibling books, fairytales, pirates, birthdays, why god loves you, and another of my favorites... The World According To Me. This book retails for $40 but this will be a MUST for Madison's 5th birthday in October. When I first saw this book I envisioned each of the girls filling it out at ages 5 and 10. Seeing how they view the world, and how much that will change in 5 years.

I know we will be purchasing plenty of books from I See Me and I really like what they have to offer! As a new fan, I am excited to see what might come up in the future as well. If I could, I'd get all three of the girls every book they sell!

I still think that the books are a little too high, BUT I after seeing one in person and the quality of work, I understand and respect their prices.

Come back on May 22 for a chance to win a book!

Shake, Rattle, & Roll *Sponsor Spotlight* Treasured by Holly, Toddler Package

I specialize in crocheted hats, headbands and flower clips for young and old. I love creating beautiful crocheted items that are great as gifts, for all the girls in your life or for yourself.

I've been a long time admirer of Treasured by Holly and her work. I was thrilled when this event came up and I knew she would be perfect to approach to participate.

I'm kind of a weird mom and our girls have certain colors. Madison loves pink and wears it all the time, McKenzie's color is purple because it compliments her skin tone, and Macyn is yellow because it's bright and cheerful like she is. I often try to find similar outfits but in the different colors so they match but are still slightly different.

I fell in love with the Felicity Crochet Flower Clips and was happy when she agreed to make and send three clips, in the girls' "colors". It was also perfect timing because we had pictures coming up and I already knew what they were going to wear so the clips would be a great addition! I thought Macyn had yellow but sadly she didn't so I had to take a picture of her later.

All her work is hand crocheted!

Layers

They're attached to alligator clips

Another angle because they're so pretty

These flowers are great quality! They're light weight so they stay in, and the alligator clips make them super easy to slip on! Since Macyn doesn't have a huge amount of hair, I love putting these on her because they stay well and give her head a great accent piece!

I've honestly never had bows or anything with alligator clips stay in so well. I don't know why, but these stay in for hours, even with the girls running around and playing. McKenzie is not very girly so I enjoyed using the clip to test on her and it did very well!

Overall I HIGHLY recommend checking out Holly's website!

She has so much to offer and its much more than just these flower clips!

Come back on May 22 for a chance to win a set of flower clips

Shake, Rattle, & Roll *Sponsor Spotlight* Elegant Baby, Toddler Package

Elegant Baby® was born in Burlington, North Carolina in 1984, the brainchild of Fred V.Hooper. Its parent company, Baby Needs, Inc., created by Hooper in 1967 as a full service distributor of baby/nursery items for mass merchants, sold products labeled as "Grow Time." When the baby market started to contract in the mid-80's, Hooper realized it was time to focus on the higher end of his industry, and launched Elegant Baby® . His new venture grew to become the premier source for stylish baby gifts and accessories, supplying childrens shops, gift boutiques and department stores throughout the United States. It was taken over by his son in 2002 and revamped to make sure they are the best they can be in the baby market!

I have wanted to get piggy banks for the girls for several years. While I was surfing the web one day, I came across Elegant Baby, and then stumbled upon their piggy bank section. I immediately fell in love with all their selections and made contact to work with them on this review.

Retail Value: $32

Madison is nicknamed Princess and has been since she was a tiny little baby, so of course I had to get her the yellow piggy bank with a pink little tiara on its head. Madison loves money so she was in need of a good size bank to hold her ever growing stash of coins!

Retail Value: $21

McKenzie's piggy bank is smaller than Madison's, but just screams her personality. Her room is decorated in the Love N Nature theme from Target, that has owls and other little cute creatures, which is another reason why this piggy bank works so well! McKenzie has such a sweet and bubbly personality and when I look at the little owl on this bank with a big bow on her head, I can't help but smile and think of my sweetheart McKenzie.

I want to point out, these banks are GLASS.
I in fact dropped and broke McKenzie's bank and am in the process of ordering another one.
She saw it break and was devastated!
My suggestion to any parent is to put these banks somewhere that can remain safe!

Elegant Baby offers piggy banks like I've never seen before!
They offer 22 piggy banks that range in size and $ amount.
Their SMALL piggy banks are $21 and go up to $52 for HUGE
They also offer other shapes like a princess crown, train, robot, soccer ball, and football

Come back on May 22 to enter for winner's choice piggy bank!

Shake, Rattle, & Roll *Sponsor Spotlight* Sparklehearts, Toddler Package

Our mission at Sparklehearts is to help encourage girls to make healthy choices when it comes to what they put on their bodies. 60% of EVERYTHING you put on your skin is absorbed into your body- Yikes! This is why Sparklehearts has created a fabulous line of bath and beauty products that are actually fun and yes all natural and made with organic ingredients.

As my girls get older, I find myself wanting to find more organic/natural products to use on them because they're so delicate and natural is ultimately the best thing. I was happy to find Sparklehearts for this very reason! Their items are 100% natural and is never tested on animals! I asked to review the shampoo, conditioner, and detangler because I've been on a long hunt for a great product to wash the girls' hair with that is safe and something I actually like.

Pansy extract protects your lovely locks from sun damage.
Natural coconut and sugar form fabulous foam for a super shiny clean.
Rosemary rejuvenates dull hair, bringing back the bounce.
This shampoo smells a little weird but I do like it's lather quite well. You don't need very much in order to get a good suds going and wash the hair properly. I don't like when I have to use shampoo two or three times because it's just not doing its job! I also can't help but love the packaging too! It's bright and cute with bold and fun letters on the front to clearly see it's your shampoo

Vitamin b-5 moisturizes your mane and builds bounce.
Shea butter and jojoba restore the gorgeous glow of your tresses and add serious shine.
Wheat protein performs intense hair repair for a healthy look.
I've never used conditioner on my girls before this review. I know shampoo is supposed to help strip out the dirt and stuff, and you use conditioner to make sure you're putting the good stuff back in. Most hair products for kids are a two in one so I never really thought about conditioner. Madison is 4 1/2 yrs old now so I thought it would be a good time to introduce the routine of conditioner and see if it helped her hair.

This conditioner smells a lot better than the shampoo!
I think this conditioner does help a lot. Her hair is crazy with wavy curls and has a mind of its own! With using conditioner, her hair is now softer and lays better. She doesn't like having to rinse her hair for the second time to get conditioner out but I'll take the whining to make her hair pretty.

Amazing antioxidants, green tea and sage extracts prevent damage and repair hair.
Nettle extract obliterates oily build-up and gives dandruff the brush-off.
Willow bark removes shine-stealing residue.
I've tried a few different detanglers to try to help with the tangly hair of a child.

This is so much different!!!

It smells amazing and really works! A couple sprays over the hair and then the brushing is so much easier! I used this every time before we got our Knot Genie brush because I could see such a difference when I used it. I even use it on my own hair sometimes! I think tangly hair is a family trait because my hair is a huge mess half the time and so is Madison's hair. Great product for a great price!

The Shampoo, Conditioner, and Detangler retail for $9.99 each.

They also sell other nice girly products like bubble bath, lotion, and deodorant on their website!

Come by on May 22 to enter to win from Sparklehearts!
