Toward the beginning of March Fairhaven Health emailed me about their Ibasal thermometer and its benefits in use. I thought this would be a great idea to use for Natural Family Planning since my husband and I didn't want to use other options to prevent pregnancy.
March 16 I was talking to my husband about how it was on its way in the mail and how I would use it and what its for and he suddenly changed his mind. For some reason he was totally fine with the thought of a 4th child. This was something we'd discussed MANY times since Macyn was born in February 2012 and he always said he was content and happy with three little girls and our house was full.
While I'll post a full review of the Ibasal thermometer soon, I'm happy to announce that on March 30, 2013 I got a nice surprise after noticing a spike in my temperature.....
Since I was only 3 weeks and 6 days pregnant (and only 10 day past ovulation) I decided to take one more test the next morning (Easter) just to see two pink lines one more time. The picture below shows the line darkening as time elapses and just like the morning before, the line was immediately noticable
This also means I've decided to do the pregnancy journal like Lakeon does. You'll find the tab at the top of the page for easy access :)
