In College? How about renting the books you own to other students?!

This is a sponsored post for CampusBookRentals.com

CampusBookRentals.com is a great way for students on a budget to get the books they need and not break the bank in the process.

Books can be so expensive and the you use them for a short period of time and then they sit and collect dust. Renting your text books means you save money, don't have them laying around after you're done, and yet you can treat the books like you own them and then simply send back when done.

While I've never personally went to college, I've heard my mother-in-law talk about my brother-in-law's books and how they cost hundreds of dollars, some even used. That just blows my mind. I understand books can be some what expensive to make, but its not really fair to ask students or their parents to spend so much money on something that has no use after a couple months.

How awesome does it sound to save 40-90% off retail of books, get free shipping both ways, have the books for as long as you need, and highlight needed sections.

You're able to select your renting period, whether its one semester or the whole school year, and then you get a 15 day grace period if something comes up and you need the book a few extra days. If you decide you need the book longer than expected, you simply get online and extend the rental period of your book and you're all set.

Another thing I like is they offer 30 day risk free trial period of the books. If you rented a book and then after a couple weeks decided it isn't really needed, simply return it for a refund and that frees up money and space for other books you do need!

CampusBookRentals.com also now has a new section on their site. If you go to their sister site, RentBack.com, you can now rent out your owned books to other students and make money!!

This is such a genius idea! You find out about renting your books from them and yet you have old books laying around, so why not send them in to make a little extra money? You could put the money toward renting new books for other classes, and then don't have the clutter of the old books in the way!

All you have to do is find the book on their site, print out a shipping label, and mail the book in. From then on, as long as your book(s) are in demand, CampusBookRentals.com takes care of everything else and all you do is rake in the extra cash.

This video made me cry! I encourage to watch

One other great thing about CampusBookRentals.com is that they donate a portion of each book rented to Operation Smile. Operation Smile is an amazing company that goes to different countries to help children with deformities get the medical intervention they need to lead a more normal, healthy life.

Since 1982, Operation Smile, through the help of dedicated medical volunteers, has provided more than 3.5 million comprehensive patient evaluations and over 200,000 free surgeries for children and young adults born with facial deformities.

You can donate to Operation Smile to help make a difference to the lives of others that don't normally have the chance to get help. Remember, every time you rent from CampusBookRentals.com, you're helping donate since part of your proceeds go to the charity, as well as getting closer to helping another child like you saw in the video.

You can also see other encouraging stories and before and after pictures on the Operation Smile blog and see how much they've helped others, as well as charity events they do.

As we head in to Summer, now's the perfect time to gather up the books you were going to sell, ship them in to CampusBookRentals.com (if applicable) and then start early on the search for books for the Fall.

Right now they're doing a summer rental sale where any in stock book is only $29 to rent so check them out today and get your books before they're gone!
