Talkin' Tattoos Tuesday: week 29

Welcome to week 29 of Talkin' Tattoos Tuesday! I did an intro post where I explained my goal in posting these every week and how you can submit your photo to be featured. Check out the post if you need to refresh your memory. Since I've went through all my tattoos, now I'll be sharing photos I've found online, and the occasional viewer submission when they come in.

Sometimes I wonder about getting a tattoo on one of my fingers. I came across this on "The Tattoo Page" via Facebook and found it very appealing, feminine, and cute.

I've always thought hearts were cute when I'd see pictures of them on the finger, but this is the first thing I've seen that I really liked. While I personally wouldn't get an owl on my finger, I love how much detail is involved in such a small space. You can see the little glisten in the eyes, details of the feathers, and even little feet at the bottom perched so cutely close to her knuckle.

While sometimes I think a tattoo on my finger would be really cute, I also don't see it healing well as a mother of 3 (soon to be 4) children. With changing clothes, diapers, doing laundry, dishes, and cleaning here and there I don't think it would heal as well as it should. My wrist tattoo even suffered in the healing because of the things explained above and getting dunked in dish and bath water a lot.

Anyone have tattoos on their fingers??
I'd love to see/feature some!

I'm not generally a fan of owls but that's a cute tattoo. I have one tattoo. It's on my right leg and it's a red guitar in rememberance of my father.
