The Little Bee Co. Cloth Diapers Review

Thank You The Little Bee Co. For The Diaper To Help With This Review

Our "bee changed and change the world" mission is our core: 'For each diaper purchased The Little Bee Co. will donate a diaper to an orphan in need'. Along with providing a quality diaper, our passion is to help children in need and bring an awareness to the orphan crisis consuming the world today.

The Little Bee Co. is an amazing group of people looking to change the world while also selling great products. Every Bee Changed Diaper Color is chosen to represent a specific group of children in need. Each print and color of a Bee Changed Diaper is unique and meaningful! Names are chosen not just for the "cute" factor but as a way to represent the world we live in. There are so many countries, filled with so many people and so many of those people are children and babies in need. Our hearts break and beat for the least of these and it is our goal to make a difference by changing the world one bottom at a time! When you see your baby in a Bee Changed Diaper you can not only be proud that their diaper represents a diaper that was given to a baby in need but, you also have the chance to use the print or color as a reminder to say a quick prayer for the children of the country that your diaper represents.

In the U.S. the term orphan is rarely used. When describing children in government care, the term 'foster child' is used even when the child is living in a group home or institution. There are approx. 500,000 children in the U.S. foster care system and approx. 120,000 currently available to adopt. To represent these children: American Meadow {A classic play on a spring green}

When I became a mom to my first baby, I was in no way interested in using cloth diapers. To me, they seemed like a waste of time and washing detergent. When I became pregnant with my second baby, after seeing that quite a few of my friends were using cloth diapers, I started getting interested in trying them out. After lots of research and lots of trying to convince my husband to let me do this, I finally was able to buy my first set of diapers. Now that Brantley is 4.5 months old, we've got the hang of things. I've figured out what works for us and what doesn't. I was very excited that The Little Bee Co wanted to send me a diaper to review since I don't have a Little Bee cloth diaper yet.

Upon receiving my diaper, I was very pleased with the packaging. The color of green of this diaper is VERY vibrant. Normally, I'm not a fan of the color green but the brightness of this diaper was beautiful enough to change my mind.
• No cover needed/waterproof PUL outer
• Adjustable, clean snap front design
• Wrap & Go feature to eliminate messy diaper storage and to accommodate the tiniest waist as a crossover snap design
• 100% all natural bamboo/organic cotton/coolplus blend
• Specially designed leak guard front elastic

One of the first things I noticed about the Ultra Cool cloth diaper is the pocket opening is small. I like this because it's stretchy enough to fit any size hand inside to stuff and the inserts don't fall out easily like other brands of cloth diapers I've used. The inside of this diaper is very soft.

I absolutely adore the fact that there is an elastic band around the tummy area. I've never seen this feature on another diaper before. This would had came in handy all of those times when Brantley shot pee up and out of the top of his diaper. (You moms of boys know exactly what I mean.) We always run into the problem of Brantley not fitting in the cloth diapers around his legs, so I'm very pleased at how the elastic in the leg area fits perfectly around Brantley's chubby thighs. Even after multiple washes, the cloth diaper fabric and insert were both just as soft as they were new in the package!

(Pictures of the diaper above were taken while stuffed with BOTH inserts.)

Daytime use: During the day, this diaper held up well with only one insert. There was absolutely no leakage even while picking him up and putting him down multiple times throughout the hours he wore it. After he was wet and I changed the diaper, there were no red marks from the diaper being too tight along the elastic band at the top of the waist or around the legs.

Nighttime use: Brantley is what I like to call a nighttime soaker. He pees the MOST at nighttime while he's sleeping. I normally use only disposables on him during the night since they seemed to hold his pee better than all of the cloth diapers I had. (Even while changing him once or twice during the night.) I stuffed the Ultra Cool cloth diaper with both of the inserts. This would be the ultimate test of the Ultra Cool diaper.

When I woke up in the morning and noticed Brantley slept through the night, I thought to myself, "Oh boy, I bet his entire bed is soaked with pee." but to my surprise, everything was still dry! The diaper was completely soaked inside but with no leakage. What a success! I think I'll be purchasing more of these diapers in the near future.

The Bee Changed Ultra Cool diaper is $23.95 which is a great price for the quality of diaper this is. They have other diapers that are even as low as $14.95.

If you would like to purchase a cloth diaper, swim diaper, detergent or extras, visit them at The Little Bee Co. They are even in the middle of making "Mama Cloth" which is coming soon to their store!
