Talkin' Tattoos Tuesday: week 32

Welcome to week 32 of Talkin' Tattoos Tuesday! I did an intro post where I explained my goal in posting these every week and how you can submit your photo to be featured. Check out the post if you need to refresh your memory. Since I've went through all my tattoos, now I'll be sharing photos I've found online, and the occasional viewer submission when they come in.

I'm not much for skull tattoos, but this image took my breath away!!

I usually like color, but this is done so amazingly in black and white with lots of shadows and different touches to make each piece really stand out. There's a lot to look at in this tattoo, but it's not too busy and makes your head spin. Instead, I find myself looking up and down at the different areas in awe of each section that my eye finds so beautiful.

The best part of this tattoo (in my opinion) is the right wing of the butterfly. With a line of white separating the wing and the top of the skull, it makes is look almost 3D. The rose is another feature that makes this tattoo more feminine and beautiful, so while I don't know if this is on a male or female, I could see it easily working for both.

The detail of the shading on that tat is amazing. I'd love to know the story behind it.
