Holiday Gift Guide: Little Tikes Activity Garden

Thank you Little Tikes for the Activity Center to help with this review

As we approach the upcoming Holiday season, Mama's Baby Cupcakes has teamed up with several companies we think would be a great fit to purchase/wear/give to others in the upcoming months. Thanks to each and every sponsor showcased in our Holiday Gift Guide, and if you see the cute button above then you know its Holiday approved!

The Little Tikes Company was founded in 1970. It is a multi-national manufacturer and marketer of high-quality, innovative childrens products. In November of 2006, Little Tikes became a part of MGA Entertainment. Our headquarters and largest manufacturing facility are located in Hudson, Ohio. We also have a number of manufacturing and distribution centers in Europe and Asia. Our goal is to create and supply innovative products to customers and consumers around the world.

Macyn will be 2yrs old in February and is currently at a great age for this Little Tikes Activity Garden. I was so excited to receive this in the mail because with cold weather approaching, finding new ways to entertain small children indoors can be quite a task.

This Little Tikes Activity Garden has a suggested age range for 6 months to 3yrs old and features a wide variety of items to play with.

I really like the size of the box this set comes in. Its not heavy or big and bulky, and also comes inside a brown box which is great for little kids. We've had presents in the past come with the regular box like you'd buy at the store, and then we'd have to quickly find a place to put it so our kid's didn't see the colorful pictures on the sides.

As you can see above, there isn't a huge amount of parts to put together. There is a small bag of screws, but my sister and husband put it together in about 10 minutes. You can't ask for a quicker set up than that when it comes to children's toys! After opening presents comes putting it all together, so having something to quickly put up and play with is a great feature and a must with young children.

Holiday Gift Guide: Snorg Tees Review

Thank you Snorg Tees for the shirt to help with this review

As we approach the upcoming Holiday season, Mama's Baby Cupcakes has teamed up with several companies we think would be a great fit to purchase/wear/give to others in the upcoming months. Thanks to each and every sponsor showcased in our Holiday Gift Guide, and if you see the cute button above then you know its Holiday approved!

Here at SnorgTees, we specialize in pop-culture inspired, random, and all around funny t-shirt designs. We started this company in 2004 out of our basement, and faked everybody into thinking that we own an actual business. We've even shipped a shirt to NASA. That means space. So, technically, we're a universal company.

I first saw this shirt on my friend Brenda's blog, The Small Things. As I was reading about the company and her review item, I couldn't help but laugh when I saw her great shirt. I thought about the shirt many times, so I decided I'd email and see if SnorgTees would be willing to do a review with me for the same great shirt Brenda showcased on her blog.

Holiday Gift Guide: Ornaments with Love Review

Thank you Ornaments with Love for the ornament to help with this review

As we approach the upcoming Holiday season, Mama's Baby Cupcakes has teamed up with several companies we think would be a great fit to purchase/wear/give to others in the upcoming months. Thanks to each and every sponsor showcased in our Holiday Gift Guide, and if you see the cute button above then you know its Holiday approved!

Ornaments with Love is a company run by a family that has been in the retail gifts business for over 50 years. For the past 10 years, we have taken our experience and applied it to selling personalized Christmas ornaments in Connecticut and Washington, DC area malls, 5 years on the internet. You may have seen us in Tyson's Corner, Montgomery, Lakeforest or Trumbull Malls operating under the name Ornaments and More II.

Last October I posted my review of the snowman family ornament with three children. It was our first Christmas as a family of five and I loved the idea of capturing it with a great ornament we could look at for years to come.

This Christmas we will have a new addition to the family, courtesy of Mya being due in early December, so I thought I would get the same Ornaments with Love Snowman Ornament as last year but with four children to show how we've grown from one Christmas to the next!

BabyMoov Food Processor Review

Thank you BabyMoov for the 5 in 1 Baby Food Processor below to help with this review

Cariboo distributes the BabyMoov Food Processor, and was launched 6 years ago when Geneuvieve,  a Canadian mom was expecting her first child.

I was very excited to have the opportunity to review the BabyMoov Bebedelice 5 in 1 Baby Food Processor. With baby #4 due in December and three other children 6yrs and under, I knew that this processor could come in very handy for us now, as well as next Summer when baby Mya will be exploring the world of food!

Once I opened the box, I was a bit overwhelmed with all the different pieces and trying to identify everything as I was reading the directions, but I just looked on the side of the box to know what was what so I ensured to use the correct pieces to do the different tasks.

Crafty Friday: Week 4 (Easy Monster Door)

I love decorating for Halloween. In the past we always hang orange and purple lights, some cling on stickers for the window, and maybe a sign or two in the yard, but now with a permanent home for our family the need to decorate better has loomed over me.

SUPPLIES
  • Paper Plates for eyes
  • Black Paper for Pupils (I used blue marker and lid to make an even circle)
  • Masking Tape
  • Streamers

Adore Nail Polish Review

Thank you Adore Nail Polish  for the polishes to help with this review
Most people have attended weddings, been in a wedding or have had a wedding of their own. I have done all three and through these experiences I know what makes the whole planning of the wedding so special. It is the details that make it so unique and personalized. I remember searching for that special piece that made everything come together, something no one else had, something that was mine, something that I could keep and remember. That's when I decided to put together a nail polish wedding collection.
My polish is for everyone and anyone who is involved in any aspect of the wedding. Whether it be the guests who are invited to the shower, or all your girlfriends coming to your bachelorette party, or a little extra gift to all your bridesmaids and yourself, this product is for every one of these groups. It's exclusive yet involves everyone in the process.

Adore are the makers of nail polishes for that special wedding day. The design on the bottle is something you just want to set on your dresser as a reminder of the special events that are to come. The classic graphic on the front represents the elegance and detail put into your wedding. Each polish has a cute wedding day type name to go along with it which I found adorable. (See what I did there? wink wink) Adore was kind enough to let me review 2 nail polishes of my choice which were Blushing Bride and In Love With My Honey.

Blushing Bride is a matte light purple and has very little shine to it. It's close to lilac in color and very beautiful. Normally It takes up to 3 coats of nail polish to get good coverage over my nail, but SURPRISINGLY I only brushed on ONE coat of Blushing Bride for this picture. Normally I only wear pink nail polish but I'm certain this is my new favorite color. I have never seen another color of polish like this.

Fall Maternity with Everly Grey (Review)

Thank you Everly Grey for the two items below to help with this review
Everly Grey was created in 2009 out of a deep love and appreciation for fashion – in particular, the maternity genre.  Sensing a void in the market of sophisticated prints and a contemporary aesthetic featuring an equally attractive price point for busy moms-to-be, Everly Grey has become the hot, up & coming maternity label that includes a wide array of easy-to-wear fabrics and styles of tops, dresses, skirts and pants. The look of Everly Grey is based on weaving feminine and modern prints with a tranquil ease in styling that makes the brand relatable to all women.  With a growing set of collections, Everly Grey’s designs empower pregnant women with style and glamour.

I've had issues this pregnancy with feeling like my clothing fit appropriately. Since this is our last child, I told my husband I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on new maternity clothes to wear for a short amount of time, but I indeed had to break down and buy some clothing.

Our weather here in Indiana has been so up and down and the month of October is no exception! In the mornings its cold and then mid day its hot once the sun starts beating down, so this has made my wardrobe harder to work around.

Recently I purchased a pair of maternity jeans for $35 and afterward felt human again. I had been walking around in yoga pants, and while comfortable, shouldn't be normal attire for every day wear. Once I got the pants, I was determined to find shirts at a great price that could also be worn after the baby arrives and still look like a normal shirt and not scream "maternity wear" like some items can. Luckily Everly Grey is a company that offers great items for during pregnancy and after, so I was able to review two great tops that will transition to normal clothing after December.

Holiday Gift Guide: "The Pecking Order" Pillowcases

Thank you The Pecking Order for the pillowcase to help with this review

As we approach the upcoming Holiday season, Mama's Baby Cupcakes has teamed up with several companies we think would be a great fit to purchase/wear/give to others in the upcoming months. Thanks to each and every sponsor showcased in our Holiday Gift Guide, and if you see the cute button above then you know its Holiday approved!

With Madison's 6th birthday last week and also switching rooms around to prepare for the baby's arrival, we wanted Madison to feel special since she was giving up her room, so re-decorating for her was a great option for us!

Madison loves the Disney movie "Tangled" and wants to be Rapunzel, so when I saw the princess and carriage pillow case via The Pecking Order's Facebook page, I knew it would be a great gift for her!

After chit chatting with the company, we agreed that it would be made and sent in time for her "Tangled" themed birthday party and I anxiously awaited for it to arrive in the mail so I could snap a few pictures, and then wrap it and hide it away until the big day!

Madison's "Tangled" Themed Birthday Party With Some Help From Birthday In A Box

Thank you Birthday In A Box for the Pinata to help with this post

Madison is your typical 6yr old little girl. She loves dress up, her hair being done, nails painted, and of course Disney Princesses. Rapunzel first came in to our lives in January 2012 when my mother in law took the girls to Disney on Ice. Fast forward to September 2012 when her BFF had a Tangled themed party, and from that moment on she knew her 6th party just HAD to be Rapunzel.

After looking around for the "right" kind of Tangled character (that best resembles the look from the movie) I ultimately purchased a la carte from birthdayexpress.com and got the basic items needed to throw a party. We always end up with too much stuff left over so I get the basics of table cloth, plates, napkins, and cups for the kiddos!

We've never had a pinata before so this was a first for all of us! Madison's birthday falls during Fall Break here in Indiana, so we didn't have the turn out for other kids like I'd hoped, but that didn't mean our girls couldn't still have fun right?

Holiday Gift Guide: Crane USA Review

Thank you Crane USA for the Humidifier & Night Light to help with this review

As we approach the upcoming Holiday season, Mama's Baby Cupcakes has teamed up with several companies we think would be a great fit to purchase/wear/give to others in the upcoming months. Thanks to each and every sponsor showcased in our Holiday Gift Guide, and if you see the cute button above then you know its Holiday approved!

Crane USA was founded in 2005 on the belief that design is an attitude and the home is a personal expression of an individual's lifestyle. We also realize that more than ever before people are looking to improve their health and their home environment. Crane is a company that recognizes these health concerns and people’s individual lifestyles.

I've been lucky to be able to work with Crane a couple times, and each time they don't disappoint! Crane USA humidifiers helped us so much with our middle daughter and constant bloody noses as a toddler. In Fall 2011 I posted a review about our first experience with Crane and their adorable Owl Humidifier and its still a great success in our home and McKenzie still loves it two years later.

Fast forward to May of this year and I was contacted to review their new Belly Glo Night Lights. We received the duck night light and Macyn has it in her room every night. She loves the little rubber duck body and likes to make sure its in her room for naps and the occasional peck on the beak to show her love.

When I was contacted to showcase the new Hippo Humidifier and Night Light, I knew it was meant to be! Macyn doesn't have a humidifier like her sister's do, and with the changing weather upon us, also comes the germs, head colds, and sickly little kids that need the boost to help keep their little heads and chests clear.
