RAVPower On The Go Charger Review

Thank you RAVpower for the item below to help with this review
RAVPower™ means Reliable • Affordable • Value. As an industry leader in Laptop Portable Power Solutions, we strive to offer every customer with the most reliable devices at affordable prices that value the customer need for service and support from a trusted brand, that is the RAVPower™ Promise.

I was contacted by RAVPower shortly before having our baby. I figured it would be a great chance to review this item because everyone knows after you have a child you're on the phone a lot, replying to text messages, sending photos, and announcing on Social Media of the new arrival.

It just so happened that the same day the package arrived in the mail is also when I went in to labor, so I put the charger in my bag and off we went! After we got settled in on the recovery floor, we took the time to open the package, read the instructions, and get to using it as soon as possible.

Since I'm a very crafty person, I own LOTS of little odds and ends craft supplies. After browsing for containers online, I realized I wasn't going to find exactly what I was needing in the exact color I was looking for. So, one day while I was cleaning the kitchen, an idea sparked while I was throwing away our empty coffee container!

Here's what you need: Spray paint. Coffee container. Stickers.

Instructions: Simply spray paint your can and add stickers. A cute and cheap storage organizing idea!

Now I just need to drink more coffee coffee coffee so I can make more of these!

Mobile Healthcare Brings Doctors To Children

Sponsored post via PostJoint

"The Big Blue Bus" is sweeping the nation, now being seen in 16 states and the District of Columbia.  This mobile healthcare program began in New York City and now brings quality medical care to children in need.  Helping mostly homeless and uninsured children, the program has been a lifesaver to many in need.  As the homeless population in the United States continues to grow, services like this are in high demand.  In the Bronx alone more than 22,000 children sleep in shelters every night.
Sponsored by the Children's Health Fund "The Big Blue Bus" services the basic health needs of these children.  The "emergency clinic on wheels" goes where it is needed and has helped victims of natural disasters such as Hurricane Katrina and Super Storm Sandy.  With a fleet of more than 50 busses, the group has become a reliable resource in the fight against low-income healthcare issues.

Crafty Friday: Week 15 (Re-Using Old Picture Frames)

When we had only one child, I would get her pictures taken once a month, choose my favorite pose, and get an 8x10 to frame in our apartment. Once we had a second child I did it again, and also with our third. Needless to say I have A LOT of picture frames now.

Since a lot of our picture frames aren't being used, I wondered a better way to use them so they're not just sitting in my room collecting dust.

After looking around on Pinterest for craft ideas, I stumbled upon uses for picture frames and began to search other possible uses besides photos.

Items Needed:
picture frame, print off or decoration to put inside, and wipe-able marker.

Lakeon made me the above graphic to get printed out and it now sits on my kitchen counter. Sometimes I need to give myself structure to fully complete a task, so I'm hoping to use this idea to better accomplish my goals through out a day/week.

When I try to organize things and deep clean, I tend to go from one thing to another and never feel like I got anything accomplished because it always still looks the same. By simply turning something I'm not using in to a fun little list, I hope to slowly but sure go through each room in my home, organize things, and slowly but surely check things off my list to make our house more organized for our family.

PBS Kids: DINOSAUR TRAIN "I Love Dinosaurs" DVD Review

Thank you PBS for the DVD to help with this review

Dinosaur Train embraces and celebrates the fascination that preschoolers have with both dinosaurs and trains while sparking an interest in life science, natural history, and paleontology.

First off, how cute is Buddy on this box cover?! Our 2nd child McKenzie loves Dinosaur Train and poses like Buddy is all the time for pictures.

Now, when I got the email for this DVD, I was thrilled. Like I mentioned, McKenzie is a big fan of Dinosaur Train and was even Buddy this past Halloween. As we get closer to Valentines Day, all the decorations at stores start to come out, and I recently started wondering about school parties for our girls and the need to get cards for her class mates. This DVD comes with cards, unfortunately there's only two inside. I was disappointed since my mind automatically thought several, but I guess they're for fun with kids in your home.

Episodes include...
King Meets Crystal - During a day at Troodon Town Music Festival, the Pteranodon family and King Cryolophosaurus hear a wonderful singer named Crystal Cryolophosaurus. Tiny and Buddy help King overcome his nervousness, and he and Crystal end up friends who happily sing together. Don & LillyDon and new neighbor, Lily Lambeosaurus, stay at Pteranodon Terrace while the other kids take a day trip to the Big Pond. Don shows off his knowledge of the area to an admiring Lily.

Gilbert Visits The Nest - Shiny is nervous about Gilbert's impending visit to Pteranodon Terrace. When Gilbert arrives, everyone starts having fun except Shiny who feels ignored. Soon Gilbert and the other kids persuade Shiny to join them, and they all eat, play, and laugh together.

Erma and the Conductor - The Pteranodon family is on the Dinosaur Train headed to the Big Pond for a special nighttime treat - watching a meteor shower in the sky! Mr. Conductor stops to pick up Erma Eoraptor, his best friend. At the Big Pond, the Conductor and Erma are interrupted a few times while trying to be alone, but soon find the perfect spot to watch the meteor shower from.

Don's Collection - Don and new neighbor, Lily Lambeosaurus, stay at Pteranodon Terrace while the other kids take a day trip to the Big Pond. Don shows off his knowledge of the area to an admiring Lily as they search for more items for his collection.

Treasured By Holly Sponsor Spotlight

I received no compensation for this post other than Treasured by Holly agreeing to giveaway

Treasured by Holly is a great online site for crocheted items. From hats and scarves to hair bows and clips, she has something for everyone. Sizes range from newborn to adult so you're sure to be able to shop for your whole family!

I first found Treasured by Holly through a blog in early 2012. I loved her work and kept my eye on her shop, wanting in time to try out some bows for our girls. We connected in May 2012 for a blog review of her Felicity Flower Clips, and I've been a fan ever since purchasing many items in her store and always wanting to add more!

A new item in Holly's shop would be these amazing Infinity Scarves. With recently having our fourth child, I've started to think about myself and ensuring I get some "me time" every now and then, and I've been thinking about a new look as well!

I remembered seeing a picture of an Infinity Scarf back in the Fall from Holly, so I decided to take a look around her shop and see what all was new.

Bamboobies Re-Usable Nursing Pads Review

Thank you Bamboobies for the Nursing Pads to help with this review

Bamboobies was created in 2009 after becoming a mother and always leaking through pads. After making her own nursing pad from velour fabric, she decided to make it in to a business and a whole line of products for new mothers.

Having breastfed all four of my children, I always have breast pads around. I always used disposable pads until I got in to blogging and had my third child. Being a blogger has opened my eyes to quite a lot of things out there on the market, and reusable breast pads would be one of those things. Not only can you save money using reusable pads, but you always have them around when needed and no runs to the store when you're low and in need!

Bamboobies sent me the Combination Sampler pack to review which is 1 set of regular pads (hearts) and 1 set of overnight pads (circles). This pack retails for $20 and is a great way to test out each type of pad offered.

The Diaper Clutch Review

Thank you The Diaper Clutch for the clutch to help with this review
Following the birth of her son in 2005, Cynthia Poblete founded The Baby Panda, an online boutique offering Asian-inspired clothing and accessories for infants and children. Joining the group of other "mom-preneurs", she created the diaper clutch after finding the need for the convenience of diapers and wipes in a stylish carrying case, she took to the drawing board! In the Fall of 2006, she launched her new product, the diaper clutch.

I go back and forth with purses. At times they're great to have, but most of the time when I'm just running a couple quick errands, I'd rather have a simple solution for times when a diaper change can't wait. When you have a toddler, everything is more predictable and I just keep wipes and diapers in our van, but when you have a young baby, they need a diaper change at any moment, so I always want to be prepared.

These Diaper Clutch's are 10"x7", come in 100% cotton fabrics, and feature a velcro closure for the wipes section. While designed around the Huggies brand of refill wipes case, you can also use these clutch's with Pampers, Kirklands, Comfort Babies, and more. It holds the 40 count refill packs, and since there's a hole for the hard button, your wipes will stay nice and secure in this case, while also staying shut and not drying out.
