Crafty Friday: Week 14 (baby sensory jar)



Brantley is the finder of all things small. He's so interested in finding tiny toys to play with but these are choking hazards for babies. Sensory jars are a great way to introduce baby to small toys, beads, etc without having to worry with them getting choked.

MATERIALS:
Water bottle
Rice
Food coloring
glue
Beads, small toys, etc


As shown in the pic above, I added food coloring to the rice and mixed it all up until all of the rice was coated. I then let the rice dry for 15 minutes while I walked around the house collecting small things to add to the sensory bottle. I added enough things to fill the bottle 3/4 of the way full. When I was satisfied with the bottle, I used a glue to glue the lid on.
