The Vintage Pearl Necklace Review

Thank you The Vintage Pearl for the necklace to help with this review

The Vintage Pearl began in 2007 after a stay at home mother of 4 wanted a creative outlet. After self taught ways to make jewelry, they opened up on Ebay, Etsy, and eventually their website. In 2010 they were able to open up a retail store in Tulsa, OK and have been thriving ever since! They've since opened more stores and are a huge success from what once was a way for a mother to bring in extra income!

I first worked with The Vintage Pearl a year ago when I reviewed their personalized "I Love You" necklace. I love the necklace and was so happy to have something made with my children's names that I could show off. With the arrival of a 4th child, one of the things I thought about was that my beautiful necklace would now be outdated. While I would LOVE to be able to add Mya's name to that necklace, I knew it wouldn't be possible, so I emailed in hopes of adding another piece to my collection. Luckily they said yes and I chose the necklace "Your Love is my Anchor" to review.

I was so thrilled at how quickly the necklace arrived, and opening it was like a present on Christmas day! The anticipation to see the finished product was almost too much, and I was elated when I opened the package to see my brand new necklace with my children's names on it!

While it was a bit of a challenge to find a necklace that fit my children's names, there were several necklaces that I had a hard time choosing from with just the details alone. As you can see from the stock photo and then my photo, the names are a bit cramped looking, but I see its because they want to start and stop at a certain point to ensure all necklaces are made as even as possible.

Since I have the other necklace, I knew the standard 18" chain was just a little shorter than I prefer, so I asked for 20" chain this time around to give me a tad more length and comfort. While 18" is the standard size, you can go up to 30" chain with each size being a couple dollars more than the last.

Other Examples

Besides necklaces, The Vintage Pearl offers other items such as bracelets, rings, charms, and even ornaments! With a ready-to-ship section, you can find many items that are ready to go and can get to you within a week if you're in a pinch and need a faster ship time.

I have the heart shaped ring you see above and have worn it everyday since I hinted to my husband that it would make a great Valentine's Day present this past February! It's held up very well for me, and I love how simple it is, yet makes a statement!

The left picture is when it first came in the mail February 19, 2013 and the right picture is my maternity shoot from November 2013. It's harder to see in the right photo, but since I'm not much of an every day jewelry person, this ring and my wedding ring are they only items I never take off!

You can purchase this necklace on The Vintage Pearl's website for $78 plus shipping, and comes with a standard 18" chain. You also have multiple font options and up to 30 characters including spaces, with a delivery time of 2-3 weeks from purchase date.
