Thank you Rhoost for the blind cord winders to help with this review
Rhoost co-founders, Vianka Perez Belyea and Tavinder Phull started Rhoost after the frustrating experience Vianka had childproofing her own home.
One thing every parent does is childproof their home. We all want our children to be as safe as possible, and in protecting them in the home, sometimes it can be overwhelming. After safety plugs, drawer latches, toilet locks, and door knob covers, sometimes we can forget the smaller things in our homes that can be of concern with children.
We have six windows on the floor level of our home and its a constant battle to keep our toddler away from the cords. Scary enough, I've even had to cut our child out of the blind cord once because she slipped quietly in the playroom while I was cooking dinner and wrapped her torso in the cord. It was such a scary instance for me, and since then we've been looking for the perfect solution to ensuring the safety of our children.
Welcome to week 50 of Talkin' Tattoos Tuesday! I did an intro post where I explained my goal in posting these every week and how you can submit your photo to be featured. Check out the post if you need to refresh your memory. Since I've went through all my tattoos, now I'll be sharing photos I've found online, and the occasional viewer submission when they come in.
For over 28 years, Fragments has been a sparkling light in the jewelry world. Whether its fashion or fine, jewelry has always been our passion as well as our business. Every season we will entice, excite and seduce you with stunning collections of exquisite jewelry from the creative talents we have discovered for you.
With four kids, I don't wear much jewelry besides my wedding rings and some earrings. I do like to browse and see what's out there, and Fragments Jewelry was a fun place to do just that! With such a variety of items to choose from, you can quickly loose track of time with all their sections of great pieces.
My favorite thing about the site right from the beginning is that you shop by which kind of metal you prefer. I myself am a White Gold kind of girl, and the three pieces above caught my eye quickly. The Pink Topaz Cushion Ring is so beautiful, and since pink is my favorite color, I would wear something like this often. The gem is set around black diamonds and 14K white gold, with the gem being 6mm. I don't normally like chocolate or black diamonds, but this beauty caught me by surprise. It's retail value is high at $890, but a girl can dream right?!
I hope you all enjoy this giveaway I signed up to help promote. I've worked with a couple other carriers, and this one looks pretty neat!

My Dentist’s Choice Tooth Tissues
Tooth Tissues™ are certified all natural, unflavored dental wipes for baby and toddler smiles. They contain xylitol and are paraben free and unflavored, because babies do not need to be exposed to artificial flavors. As practicing dentists, Drs. Grace Lo and Jonathan Korn know the importance of cleaning babies teeth and gums after feedings and before bedtime. As parents they found that it was not always so simple. Tooth Tissues™ are the results of their efforts to find a simple pleasant way to begin good oral hygiene. You will find that they are a convenient yet effective way to comply with your pediatrician or dentist's recommendation for wiping your baby and toddlers' gums and teeth.
Teething Bling Teething Bangle
Teething Bling is the original teething jewelry. Made from the same FDA-approved silicone as most teething toys, Teething Bling looks great on the adult wearer but is completely safe for baby to handle and chew. It's soft and flexible, chemical-free, non-toxic (no lead, latex, phthalates, BPAs, PVCs) and every necklace comes with a breakaway clasp as an added safety feature. It's a very simple, clever design that moms absolutely adore.
Dinosaur Train A to Z is the ultimate dinosaur app from the hit PBS KIDS show Dinosaur Train. The app not only help kids build reading skills, but also will encourage the exploration of life science and natural history through discovery, play and reading.
McKenzie is a huge fan of Dinosaur Train! I saw the app on the Dinosaur Train Facebook page, so when I got the email to review the app, I couldn't have been more excited! McKenzie loves dinosaurs and this app was right up her alley!
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Pull-Ups. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I am so excited to be working with Pull-Ups. Macyn will be our third child to potty train, and I've learned pro's and con's from potty training with our first two girls. While Macyn knows when she's going potty in her diaper, she doesn't quite have the whole understanding behind it, so now that she's hit her 2nd birthday, we're giving potty training a shot! Over the next two months I'll be sharing our journey along the way and the ups and downs we'll face as we embark on to a potty trained toddler.
Signs a child is ready to potty train:
Stays dry for at least two hours.
Is dry after a nap.
Is uncomfortable in soiled diapers.
Shows increased interest in the bathroom.
Asks to use the toilet or potty char.
Has regular and predictable bowel movements.
Asks to wear Big Kid or “grown up” underwear.
Uses words or body language when he or she needs to go.
Follows simple verbal directions.
Walks to and from the bathroom, helps undress his/herself.
While Macyn doesn't show all the above signs, she does have some, and its a great start.

Strategy: It’s ok to feel sad sometimes; little by little you'll feel better.
