Needing Valentine's Day Cards? Check out CardStore.com #OkayToCry #MC #Sponsored

I participated in a Blogger Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Cardstore.com. I received complimentary cards and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

With Cardstore, it's all about you. Cardstore blends the very best of design and messaging into a top notch, ready-to-mail product that's stamped with your own personal touch. Now you can create and send the perfect card that expresses exactly what's on your mind, whenever the occasion (or inspiration!) strikes.

Valentine's Day is such a fun holiday in our home. I've always loved the holiday, but now that we have little girls, its just that much more special. Every year we purchase the heart shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's, get our girls a couple special treats, and enjoy the day of  "love".

My husband and I have been together for ten years now. We met as young teenagers, not expecting it to go anywhere, and now we're married, own a home, and have four beautiful little girls. While we've never been too mushy with our feelings, I love cards. Cards can say so much, and its an ever lasting memory of a special time in your life. I will look at cards in the store for a long time until I find just the right one, and the card you see above is perfect for my husband and I.

I love being us, and the way we're just ourselves, comfortable with our own little ways of doing things, not needing a lot to make us happy, but just being together, loving each other and the life we share.

After selecting "Valentine's Day Cards for Husbands", I was quickly drawn to this card for the saying on the front. My husband and I don't buy eachother gifts or go out much, but little things like Daisies from the grocery store, or a candy bar from the gas station mean a lot to me. It means he was thinking of me. We can sit in silence and watch TV together, but yet be comfortable and relaxed just being in each-other's presence. My husband is amazing at choosing cards, but its not something he does often. Every card my husband does purchase always make me tear up because its so heart felt and says just the right things for the occasion.

I really liked how easy CardStore is to edit and navigate through. While the card has pre-written text inside, you can fully edit it to your liking with different colors and fonts. I really liked the idea of different colors because that's not something I see often.

My husband's card retails for $3.49 on their website, plus .49 in shipping, and the card for our girls was $2.29 plus .49 shipping. Having just bought a birthday card for my sister at the grocery store, I was impressed by CardStore's prices. I could have fully customized a card for my sister, and even added photos and my own text for the same price as I paid in the store. It seems like you can never find a card in stores to say just what you're thinking and while we don't purchase cards much, I have found a new favorite with this company and I'm excited to order again in the future for other occasions!

I highly suggest visiting CardStore for last minute Valentine's Day ideas, as well as every other holiday you can imagine! This year, Cardstore reminds us that ‘It’s Okay To Cry’ and embrace the emotions and sentiment from our loved ones. Customization beats anything you can find in a store, and saying just the perfect message on a card can really show just how much you care.
