Thank you Tiny Love for the Play Mat to help with this review
Tiny Love® is a multiple award-winning global toy and baby product manufacturer which was founded in 1991 by Shoshi and Isaac Oren, entrepreneurs who had built the largest chain of baby supplies and toy stores in Israel. They began branching out into the field of developmental toys by focusing on creating toys and accessories to promote and maximize baby’s development from birth through 12 months. Today, our products are distributed in more than 50 countries worldwide.
I've worked with Tiny Love multiple times over the past two years after we had our third daughter. I've watched their company grow and come out with new items that are fun for kids and parents as well, so today I'm going to tell you about the "Discover The World" Mat.
This mat is great to grow with your child. When they're small there's tummy time and the child learning how to hold their head up and gain upper body strength. As they age they become aware of the great colors and textures on the mat, as well as the fun little pieces to play with along the way. Once they're sitting its something comfortable for them to sit on and continue to play with until toddler hood!
As Mya ages, out comes more toys for her development. With having four children all wanting to play together, the Discover the World Play Mat seemed like a perfect item for all of our girls to enjoy. Not only is it great for babies, but this gives plenty of room for her sisters to play with her and enjoy the nice big mat all at the same time.
This Play Mat is a lot of fun. Our older girls enjoy the animals and textures, while the baby likes how soft it is to the touch, as well as the plush features to make it easier for tummy time. Since it measures at 39X59IN there's plenty of room for you and baby or other siblings like our house hold.
With many sensory pieces to keep baby's attention, this Play Mat is sure to catch their eye. I especially like the peek a boo animals on the air balloon. A lot the toys crinkle when you move them, and the tiger tail is subtle but still fun.
One of my favorite features, as mentioned above, is how plush this mat is. When I first took it out of the package I was a little taken aback by how large it is in person, but once I felt it and the layers of of stuffing, I was sold. One thing all my kids never enjoyed was tummy time. It can be uncomfortable and a pain for them as the have to learn to build up their muscles, so having something soft to lay on but still be safe is a great feature.
Another nice feature to have is the handles to carry the mat. Since it is large in size, the handles really come in to play when moving it from one room to another or even on the go. My kids tend to drag it around and it knocks stuff over along the way, so I can quickly fold it and pick it up when its not being used. Since it can easily be folded it also saves room in our every growing piles of baby items around the house.
