Sparkle Farms Bloomer Shorts Review

Thanks to Sparkle Farms for the items to help with this review

As a mom of a little girl, I spent countless hours shopping for cute bloomer shorts for my daughter to wear under her dresses and skirts. Oh, and I wanted them to be affordable as well. After fruitlessly searching, I thought to myself, "If I can't find bloomer shorts, then I need to get them made!" and Sparkle Farms bloomer shorts was born! We have now been business for over three years in sunny San Diego, California!

Madison will be entering First Grade July 29 and last year I didn't let her wear too many dresses to school. Even being at home, she's not fully aware of herself and the need to be a little lady, so when I found Sparkle Farms it was the exact item we needed. During school last year if she did wear a dress, I had her wear cotton shorts underneath. It was a bit bulky, but I knew it was the best solution so she could be comfortable at school as well as maintaining modesty around her peers.

Madison is 6yrs old, 7 in October, so I wanted to get a little bigger size that she could grow in to during this next school year instead of becoming too small so I chose size 7/8 for our A Girls Rule! 3 pack review set. Since she wears a lot of pink colors I knew we had to get a pink pair, and white is an obvious choice since it can go with/under any time of clothing she wears. I liked the shade of purple in this set as well because its a light color and can be a nice accent piece with different dresses she will wear.

As you can see above, the initial trying on showed that they look like regular cotton shorts. They were a tad bigger than she is, but they're perfect for wanting room to grow. Each pair is a blend of 95/5 cotton/spandex and fit well to the body. They're thinner than normal cotton shorts she'd been using under dresses, and they hug to her legs better than the shorts we previously used. After washing they did shrink just a little bit, and they no longer look so big in the leg area where they previously made creases. Currently Madison likes wearing them around the house to lounge in since they look so much like shorts, and I'm glad to have something that will fit better under dresses than our previous options. My only thing about the pack is that the white is a tad see through. You can also wear these shorts over gymnastics leotards, to dance and cheer, or as pajamas! They're so versatile that you'll find many possibilities for uses with this company.

Sparkle Farms carries a variety of colors for you to choose from. Their 3 packs are on sale for $25 and you can buy some single colors for $13/pair. Their 3 pack is a huge savings and the obvious choice to make when purchasing from them. Each pair of shorts has their signature 3 sparkles on the bottom of each left leg, and their cute zipper pouch I showed above comes with each purchase that's made. If you spend $50+ on the website you then get free shipping!

You can also connect with Sparkle Farms on their website, Facebook, Twitter, & Pinterest.

I like the purple, bright blue, yellow, red, and black. I'd be scared to get white with the way my kids loves to play in dirt!

My niece wears dresses every day but she's also a tomboy so these would be a great addition to her wardrobe. I love the Girl's Rock colors!

I like the Girls Rock set, these would be great as my daughter has a lot of dresses, but I like her to wear shorts or leggings underneath so she can feel like she can play.
