ABCmouse.com Review and Giveaway 8/25

Welcome to the 2nd Annual "Off to School We Go!" Giveaway Hop hosted by Heather from Mommy's Favorite Things and Michelle from Mama's Baby Cupcakes. This hop is focused on items you'd want/need for your children to get ready for school! Each blog has a minimum prize package of $25 per winner and after visiting my giveaway, make sure you use the linky below to take a look at the other blogs to see what they have to offer for you!

ABCmouse.com is a global education initiative of Age of Learning, Inc. Our goal is to help children build a strong foundation for future academic success by providing a comprehensive and engaging online curriculum to greatly assist early learners to succeed in pre-k, kindergarten, and early elementary school programs.

ABCmouse.com is subscription-based, with no advertising, pop-up ads, or links to other sites. Children can learn and explore with their parents, or on their own (depending on age and ability), in a safe and secure online educational environment.

ABCmouse.com is all over TV with commercials. While I'd seen them many times, I was hesitant at paying for the service until our oldest begged to purchase a subscription. We finally gave in earlier this year as school was coming to an end so our girls could still exercise their minds over summer break. After a couple months of paying for the subscription and seeing how much our girls loved the website, I reached out for a review with the company and received a one year subscription code to the site. Once Summer arrived and the girls were home full time, I took nap time for our younger girls as the time for our older girls to get on the computer and play on the website. They were always asking to get online and play, so I was happy to see that it wasn't going to waste. As most children do, once the newness of a toy or favorite show wears off, they don't seem to care anymore. We've used ABCmouse.com for about seven months now and our girls are still asking to play on it and love the different worlds you go through as you get further along in the levels. There's several levels to start you child out at and you can get your children started as little as two years old. The levels go up until Kindergarten, and I'd love to see it go higher since our oldest is now in 1st Grade. She's still working her way through Kindergarten for fun, but I know she'll be sad when she gets to the end and can't continue. Now that our third daughter is 2 1/2 years old, I plan on starting her on the website soon, and we're deciding if we should use the website to help her and do one year of Pre-school instead of two years before starting Kindergarten. With songs, coloring pages, counting, puzzles, and more there's a lot of variety and your child will fly right through the activities as they soak in the knowledge they're getting from this great website.

You can connect with ABCmouse.com via their website, and if you purchase longer subscriptions then you get a discount. $79 buys one year and the discount gives you two months free. You can save about 48% if you purchase two years at once for $99. I love this website and what they're offering children so $99 for two years of learning is more than worth it!
