Combi USA Folding Highchair Review *Holiday Guift Guide*

Thanks to Combi for the High Chair to help with this review

As we approach the upcoming Holiday season, Mama's Baby Cupcakes has teamed up with several companies we think would be a great fit to purchase/wear/give to others in the upcoming months. Thanks to each and every sponsor showcased in our Holiday Gift Guide, and if you see the cute button above then you know its Holiday approved!

Established in 1957 in Japan, Combi has carefully cultivated a firm and growing foundation of customer trust. For the past forty years, this trust has driven the brand forward as a leader in the juvenile products industry.

I first learned about Combi USA through blog reviews, and even purchased one of their All in One Activity Walkers for our third daughter back in 2012, and Lakeon got to review the same walker last year. I was interested in learning more about Combi USA products with my children, and as our fourth daughter started to age, we realized we would need a second high chair. All our girls have used the same high chair that we've had since 2008 with our first daughter, but Macyn still needs it for meals, so the hunt was on to something for Mya. I've always been unsure as to if a full size chair would be right for us since our chair is the kind that straps to a kitchen chair, but when I saw that Combi USA's High Chair folds.... I was very intrigued!

Since I've worked with this company before, I emailed asking to review the High Chair from their website, and it was sent to me when Mya turned 8 months old. She'd quickly went from baby oatmeal and baby food, to wanting to sit with us at the dinner table and eat what we ate, so timing was perfect!

Since I have four kids running around at all times, I was so thrilled to see that there is almost no work involved in putting together this chair. Straight out of the box you see the main frame for the chair, the padding, the tray, and the removable tray insert.

Putting this high chair together only took me a couple minutes all together. While it's adjustable in height, I've never moved it because it was already perfect for me. Since the seat can adjust, I have used that to see if Mya prefers to be fully upright or laid back a bit. I decided to have it one position back from fully upright to help get Mya in and out to avoid taking the tray off.

My absolute favorite part about this high chair is the removable tray. With our other chair you have to wash the whole thing in the sink or dishwasher, but it's so bulky that it barely fits either place, and its a pain to mess with. Since this tray comes off, I wash it after every meal and then wipe down the main tray. It's very hard for me to get the full tray on and off the chair, so I've opted to pull Mya in and out of the seat instead since the back can recline. I had my husband try it, and he didn't have as much trouble as I did, but it's just easier my way and I can still get her in and out with no issues.

The Combi USA High Chair comes in three different seat shades which are Raspberry, Black, and Bronze. The maximum weight for the child is 40lbs and/or 3yrs of age. The chair weighs about 28lbs over all because of the metal frame, and offers two wheels to help ease it from place to place. There's five total height adjustments and seat adjustments you can do to this chair, and it comes with a 5 point harness type safety straps with shoulder pads for comfort. Retail value for this chair on their website is $179.99 plus shipping, and there's also a Retailer button on their website if you'd like to shop around for a cheaper price but still get the same item.

I would love to try out the Catalyst stroller. I really have a thing for strollers that let you switch them around. I would definitely get the bassinet for it too.
