Graco Ready2Grow™ Click Connect™ Stroller Review

Thanks to Graco for this stroller to help with this review

The Graco® brand of baby gear provides thoughtful, practical and dependable parenting solutions inspired by the instincts and best intentions of a loving parent. After carefully observing a parent's natural instincts to protect, nurture, comfort and soothe, Graco brings them to life in a broad range of innovative products, from strollers and car seats to high chairs, playards, monitors and more.

Our first two daughters are 19 months apart. I always liked the thought of a double stroller, but it wasn't something we could afford. We would push each child ourselves or have them walk, but the idea of a double stroller never left my mind. Once we had our third daughter, it was no issue for our older two to walk everywhere, so we only needed the one stroller. Fast forward to having our fourth daughter, and I was determined to finally have a double stroller for my children. We'd seen sit and stand type strollers at Babies R Us before, but we weren't too sure if it was something we would like in the long term, so it was never purchased. After working with Graco to review their SnugRide® Click Connect™ 35 Infant Car Seat, I had their double strollers on my mind since they are compatible. With Summer upon us and outdoor activities I decided to see if Graco would let me review stroller, and after some time, I was sent a Ready2Grow™ Click Connect™ Stroller with the fabric shade Onyx.

As soon as we took the stroller out of the box, we were happily surprised to see that it's almost fully put together. All we mainly needed to do was add the wheels, the two shade pieces, and some other little parts. I'm so glad that it only took a couple minutes to put together, because we were afraid to spend hours putting every single piece on.

Shortly after the stroller arrived, we had Back to School night for our two oldest daughters. Our housing addition is across the street from our Elementary school so we decided rather than loading the stroller in the van to drive 30 seconds and try to beat hundreds of others in to a space, we'd just walk and start breaking in the stroller!

As you can see above, my Graco Snug Ride fits perfectly in the back seat and I can easily see Mya and tend to her when needed. Macyn is 2 1/2 years old and about 25lbs riding in the front. While she tends to hang her feet below the foot rest, she loves riding in this stroller. Since the cup holder in front of Macyn snaps off on one side (or both to come completely off) we just move it out of her way and once she hops inside, she locks it back and is ready to go.

When I first started pushing the stroller around it felt a bit odd to me. It's skinny in comparison to our single stroller, and it glides with so much ease. This stroller weighs 33 lbs, and then adding an infant seat and two children sounds like a lot, but it rides so smooth our oldest daughter can push it just as well as I can. The wheels turn easily and I can get around tight spots with out much trouble. Since we went to a school on that first review day, it really let me test it around a lot of people, objects, and getting in and out of classrooms. I didn't have a bit of trouble the whole hour we were there, and I was sad when it was time to go home and put the stroller up.

Since our first use, I like to take this stroller with me at all times. Since we have a van, there's a nice space in the back to contain the stroller, but since it folds so small, it doesn't take up too much room. I love that there's one little button to fold the stroller and it folds and unfolds easily without issue. With my husband at a demanding job and our older two girls in school, I like knowing I can get around easily and contain both my girls safely. Macyn is a wanderer and with my little eyes not around, I know she can't get out of this stroller and slip away out of my site.

While Mya is only just shy of 9 months old, she is not currently sitting up fully yet. Because of this, I have never used the back seat as anything more than for the car seat. While I can use it with Macyn if I wish, McKenzie is too old to be in the front seat, so there's no need to convert at this point,

My favorite thing about this Stroller is all the riding options available. Mya will be in her Graco infant seat until the New Year, but then after that we'll move to the next step. Macyn and Mya are almost two years apart in age, so I'll be able to use this Stroller for a couple years with ease. I like that as Macyn ages we can use the handy sit/stand option in the back and Mya will be able to look around sitting in the front and enjoy her surroundings. Something like this will be great for the County Fair next year when Macyn will be in and out different rides and playing games, but Mya will be too little for it all. I'm so thrilled I had the chance to review this stroller because I can see it lasting well for years to come, and then once Macyn is too old for it, I'm sure I'll have a friend with two kids by then that would love to have this gift for their children.

The only thing I don't like about this Stroller is the cup holder for the parents. It's close to the baby's feet (or small child's reach) and it's not very big. When we went to Meet the Teacher night, my camera wouldn't fit in the slot and I was afraid Mya would kick my phone out with one wrong move. With a little older children there would be no issue, by my personal opinion is that we probably won't use it too much for anything besides a cup when at the mall or somewhere that we wouldn't want to constantly carry. You also can't really use the canopy for the front seat when using an infant seat behind. It just didn't want to stay open correctly, so we ended up taking it off until Mya's out of the infant seat and we'll put both back on.

This Stroller retails for $219.99 on Graco's website. It comes in several colors and there's other variations of Strollers available that vary in price. If you have a Graco infant seat then these strollers are for you!! I think the sticker price on this item does sound high, but when you think about how many years of use you can get out of it, there's no doubting it's worth the money. This would be especially great for parents of Twins since it's compatible with the infant seat and grows as your children grow.

Love this stroller! I love all the options! We have double wide stroller and really wish we would've gone with a double length. It fits through doorways, but not racks at stores very easily! This would be much more ideal.
And with 2 kids 2.5 years apart the fact that it grows with them is ideal!! Love your review too, very detailed!

What a great stroller! I love it! It would have been so helpful a year ago!

This looks like a great stroller - I love that there are so many seating options. I also love that it seems to get pretty small for storage. That's always a huge pain trying to store a double stroller. I'm going to recommend this one to a friend who's expecting her 2nd very soon!

Too many parts, you have to have good memory to not forgot where they go , i think it needs more space between each seat , you need to push a button and then unlock anotherone to fold and unfold the stroller , its perfect for my 18 months old baby (25 lb)but to tight for my 3 years old boy (43 lb) you have to decide wich canopy you want to use because cnt use both at a time
