Jungle Roo Cloth Diapers Review

Thanks to Jungle Roo for the cloth diaper to help with this review

We created Jungle Roo for the modern parent who sought a good fit, great function, and cool and affordable diapers.

I go back and forth with cloth diapers. I love the thoughts of saving money, but with our two year old's digestion issues, it doesn't make it an easy job. When Jungle Roo asked for a review and giveaway, I couldn't pass up trying some new cloth, and getting back in to reusable diapers again since we purchase for two children now.

While I fell in LOVE with their seahorse print diaper, I was given a list of prints not yet on the site, so I chose a penguin theme because I can't recall seeing a similar print and wanted something different in our stash.

As stated above, Mya and Macyn are almost two years apart in age and have around a ten pound gap between them. Mya is on the second rise of the two settings, and Macyn is comfortable with no rise. They're both pretty close in the waist setting, and over all the fit is comfortable.

When I first saw the insert, I wasn't too sure how well it would absorb because it seems a little thin, but it's comparable to other inserts we have made of Microfiber. The fleece liner in the diaper is extremely soft and I can only imagine how comfortable it feels on the bum.

Since I have petite children, I've always needed a full row of snaps plus a hip snap, or two full rows of snaps. I was happy to see that along with the two full rows of snaps, they also offer the cross over tab snaps for those little babies that need the tight fit. Our girls could only wear cross over tab diapers as little babies, so it's a big plus when looking for diapers.

Since there's three layers of protection in the microfiber liner, it absorbs well and comes clean as expected in the wash.

Jungle Roo Cloth Diapers range in price from $20.99 to $29.99 depending on if they're solid colors, print, or handmade. Inserts are $5 a piece, and they even sell wet bags. I've never seen the prints they use so to me it makes them unique. Their one size diapers are suggested for children 9-30lbs, and they come with two rises and two full rows of top snaps.

As I start my cloth diaper journey, I figured out that I really liked the idea of the one size diapers, and I love that these are one size! I like the tab snaps; more choices to make a great fit. I would love to try these for my new baby! Thanks!
