Talkin' Tattoos Tuesday: Week 72

Welcome to week 72 of Talkin' Tattoos Tuesday! I did an intro post where I explained my goal in posting these every week and how you can submit your photo to be featured. Check out the post if you need to refresh your memory. Since I've went through all my tattoos, now I'll be sharing photos I've found online, and the occasional viewer submission when they come in.

I felt compelled to share this photo after learning of a Facebook page slamming any human being with a tattoo. While they've since deleted that page, they made a new one that I refuse to link to, but it made me MAD. Saying that kids that have tattooed parents aren't taken care of because the parents spend all their money on tattoos and if you see tattoos it's a sign they're on drugs ETC ETC ETC.

It just blows my mind that people can still think this way about another person's body. I truly do believe the statement "The only difference between a tattooed person and a non tattooed person is that tattooed people don't care if you have them or not" When I see people with tattoos in public I look at them and compliment if I'm willing to step out of shyness to say something. I love when people ask me about my tattoos as well. Every single tattoo I have has a meaning behind it. I didn't go to a tattoo parlor and just pick something off a board because it was cool. While some of my tattoos are a "fad" they mean something to me.

If you're not a fan of tattoos, that's totally fine, but don't look down on me or my husband because we have them. If money was no option, I'd be covered in them, but our kids and life take priority. I'll get more in time when the moment is right and the money is there.
