Cool Gear Chillers & Cans Review *Holiday Gift Guide*

Thank you Cool Gear for the Tumbler & Can to help with this review

As we approach the upcoming Holiday season, Mama's Baby Cupcakes has teamed up with several companies we think would be a great fit to purchase/wear/give to others in the upcoming months. Thanks to each and every sponsor showcased in our Holiday Gift Guide, and if you see the cute button above then you know its Holiday approved!

Cool Gear International creates innovative products that strive to revolutionize the green movement with the hopes of eliminating disposable plastic bottle waste, as well as encourage a healthier and happier you.

Since I last reviewed with Cool Gear back in March, we've made a couple purchases when we've seen their products in stores. One time my husband and kids came back from the store so excited to show me two new Cool Gear Tumblers they'd found for me and couldn't wait to show me. I really love the thought of using items like this because I have four children and something is always getting spilled, hit, or dumped. Having something plastic that can hold up to kids and destruction is always a plus, so I wanted to extend my love of Cool Gear with a CoolGearCan, and since Halloween was just here, I was thrilled to receive a Sugar Skull Chiller.

First I'll talk about the Sugar Skull Chiller. I absolutely LOVE the design of this. I really like sugar skulls and secretly want one as a tattoo, so when I saw this option, I knew whether purchase or review, I would have one in my home! It comes in three colors, Purple, Green, and Black, and they all look great on their website.

While I couldn't get a  good side image, I like how the skull is a true shape in the cup getting narrower as you go down toward the mouth, and from the side, it gets smaller as well in the back of the head just like our's does. This chiller cup is 18oz and BPA free. It has double walls to keep drinks colder for longer, has a special end on the straw so it can't be pulled out when the lid is on, and it's top shelf dishwasher safe.

I think evenutally I'll end up owning all three colors of this cup because I'm so in love with it. It's fun to look out, a good conversation piece, and it shows off personality versus just a plain glass cup! These chillers retail for a good price of $8.99 and its very comparable to others I've bought in the past and cheaper then several I've wanted to buy but didn't want to spend the money.

While this can is a lot heavier than I assumed it would be, I really like it! It's 16oz and the lid screws on tight each time I use it. Because the top slides, it's nice option to help with spills. Our 10 month old actually grabbed it while it was sitting on the table and because I'd shut it there was no spill and it did its job perfectly. Because its slender, it can fit in car cup holders and even our stroller's small cup holder. This has definitely become a favorite of mine and I plan on getting more of these as well in the future. It does also come in a 12oz version and those come with straws, but I wouldn't "need" a straw either way.

These too come in a variety of colors and designs, and the 16oz retails for $9.99. The smaller 12oz is $8.99 so not much of a difference depending on which size you would personally prefer. These are also dishwasher safe on the top shelf and are BPA free. The opening when the lid is off is the same size as the can so you could easily add ice if you wanted, but it also has double insulation to help keep drinks cooler for longer.

Oh my gosh, these are amazing designs and shapes! There are actual glares if I forget my reusable water bottle for yoga and have to use a bottled water instead. Not really in the spirit of yoga I think... But there would be glares of envy if I walked in with one of the chiller cups. namaste indeed!!!
