Drop Place Backdrops Review and Giveaway!

Welcome to the Spring Sweeping Giveaway Hop, hosted by Lindsey Blogs and Viva Veltoro.
The days are getting warmer, brighter, and longer which may lead many to start Spring Cleaning. But we’re not ready to start cleanin’ until we’re done sweepin’! Take the next two weeks to sweep along the fabulous giveaways that a group of bloggers have come together to offer you! Be sure to hop around to all the giveaways, in the linky below, including the two fabulous Grand Prizes - Sudsy Dough at Lindsey Blogs and the Step2 Heart of the Home Kitchen on Viva Veltoro!
I love getting pictures of our kids professionally done, and when we only had one child, I went every month for just one perfect shot to be able to look back as she grew. Fast forward to our third daughter and I didn't do it as much but I was still able to here and there. The more children you have, the more expensive and time consuming getting photos taken can really be, so we started opting for a family friend to snap some shots here and there for memory sake. Last April we walked across our street and used a corn field as our backdrop and I fell in love with those photos, but you can't do that every time you want a nice picture, so when I found Drop Place I knew I wanted to work with them!

Last March we took our four girls to get their pictures taken, and with some prints and the CD to have copies of all photos, it was about $110. I was really shocked at the price, but they force you to let them take several poses with different back drops, and since we have four children, it just costs us a lot more. Those prints were done with a wood grain back drop and they hang on our living room focal wall. Because I love them but don't want to pay the money, I'll be taking photos of them soon recreating the images from the photo store and printing them myself. For this wood grain back drop for now, I've been using it for some review photos, and I just love how it photographs!

Next is the rainbow brick back drop and I chose this because I loved how colorful it was, and it matches perfectly with our girls' sibling shirts I was purchasing around the same time. I thought this would be a great back drop to use not only with the shirts and group shots of our girls, but fun photos all around whenever I feel fit.

I wasn't too sure about how this would photograph at first because it appears a little blurry in person, but it came out better than I could have imagined!! I love the choices of colors in this back drop and I see myself using it all the time when I take new pictures of the girls because its bright and fun just like their personalities!

The Vintage Gray Natural Knots Unfinished Wood Grain and the Neon Brick Wall can both be found on the Drop Place Etsy shop. Along with the Etsy shop, they've recently launched their own website where you can find some of the same items, or different ones.

Vinyl is a popular material because it is dependable and long lasting. It's heavyweight and can be wiped clean very easily. It's also travel friendly and great for kids, teens and adults alike! All backdrops are printed in width x height format. Backdrops may have a 1" white border around the edges from printer. Prices start at a very affordable $25 for a 3x4 and go up in size to 6x8 like both I received for $75.

You can find Drop Place on Etsy, their new website, or on social media at Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and even Instagram

I love these. I have made my grand kids get dressed up several times for pictures, they look great but the background never fits or shows how bad I am at housework.Lol. I like the close up ocean drop and the chalkboard hearts back drop.
