FabKids April Box Review

Thanks to Fab Kids for the outfit to help with this review

FabKids was founded to empower boys and girls to express their individuality through personalized outfits while revolutionizing the shopping experience for moms and dads by delivering high-quality, reasonably priced, fresh style in just ‘one-click.'

For the April FabKids review, I chose the above Striped Skater Dress and leggings combo. I love all the stripes and bright colors with this dress, and the leggings are a nice touch for the up and down weather we're having this month. I also got to choose a pair of shoes for the first time, and was really excited to feature another line of great FabKids products.

I decided to change the size for Madison recently because she has a long torso and I started to find the Medium (6-8) wasn't fitting as well over time. While I was hesitant on how big a Large (8-10) may be, I was thrilled when it fit her so well. You can't tell the difference on her from Medium to Large and I'm so happy I made the choice to size up. We're getting late in the school year, but we only have two months off during Summer before starting again in July, so I'm starting to gather clothes for back to school!

We've had pretty cold weather this month for it being Spring, so I decided to hold back this outfit for Madison's singing program a couple nights ago. I thought it would be a fun way to pick her out from the couple classes that would be on stage, and I wanted her to dress up a little, but be casual and comfortable at the same time. This was also perfect timing for the shoes that we got to pick as well because it all went together nicely and she looked so cute!!

I'll be honest in saying I had some sizing issues and trying to ensure the size I chose would actually fit once we got them. After looking at their printable chart, it was off, and Madison wears a size 1 with FabKids which is close to her 13 1/2 we've bought in stores.

I really like these shoes on Madison. She's pretty girly and likes to get dolled up every now and then, so an open toe shoe is perfect for her. I also had her wear the shoes to the Father/Daughter dance last week and they looked cute with her dress.

Very cute outfit for your daughter- I'm guessing she could wear the black pants by themselves with a longish top as a different look and the dress without the pants
