SoCozy Hair Products For Kids

Thanks to SoCozy for the two products to help review

Author and beauty veteran Cozy Friedman first opened Cozy’s Cuts For Kids, a premiere children’s hair salon aimed at redefining the entire children’s haircut experience, in 1992. Now, 20 years and multiple salons later, Friedman introduces SoCozy salon formulas for kids - the first ever premium line of hair care products made with the finest ingredients gentle enough for kids. Offering non-toxic products with no parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic color, propylene glycol and free of gluten, wheat and nuts that perform at a salon level with packaging that appeals to kids and parents alike.

Having four little girls with different hair types is hard on me. I'm not super girly and I don't know how to do many things with hair, but one thing my girls got from me is super tangly unmanageable at times hair. Ever since I can remember my hair has been frizzy, tangled, and always in my way. Our oldest daughter especially has my hair type and I was excited when So Cozy pitched me to review and I requested two products from all you see above.

Along with getting the detangler/leave-in-conditioner, I figured I'd let my girls try to 3 in 1 shampoo as well. I figured it may be easier for our oldest, who takes her own showers, to have an all in one type of product and possibly make her showers go faster. She really likes it as a body wash but prefers to use her dandruff shampoo on her hair for dry scalp.

Macyn turned three this past February and has never had a hair cut. When her hair is wet after baths and such it touches her waist as its brushed. As you can see above she has long flowing beautiful curls, but because she's young, she doesn't always understand the time it takes to brush her hair. While she would rather I never brush her hair, I like using the detangler to help me in the process. I like to spray all over and then section out pieces to brush one at a time and she seems to tolerate me more now than before.

The SoCozy collection comes in three key categories:

  • Cinch: The basics and easy to use
    • Detangler + Leave-In Conditioner (8oz. only), 3 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner + Body Wash, 2 in 1 Shampoo + Body Wash, and Super Hydrating Conditioner – $11.95, 8oz. & $32.95, 32oz. each
  • Behave: Stylizing products that actually make hair listen
    • Mousse Medium Hold, Cream Soft Hold, and Gel Medium Hold -$11.95 each
  • Boo!: Clinically proven to repel lice and infused with tea tree oil, rosemary, and peppermint
