FabKids June Box Review

For our June review I chose this Eyelet top and rainbow heart leggings because I loved our May review so much which was a rainbow heart dress! The pattern is cute, girly, bright, and just puts a smile on your face!

I decided to change the size for Madison several months ago because she has a long torso and I started to find the Medium (6-8) wasn't fitting as well over time. She is 7 1/2 years old now and I knew even if the Large (8-10) may be a little big, it would be something she could grow in to vs not wearing that long. You can't tell much of a difference on her from Medium to Large and I'm so happy I made the choice to size up. Now that we start school again next month, I've been choosing outfits for the new school year and I thought this outfit would be great for several reasons. While the shirt is a long sleeve and kind of warm right now, it'll be great for Fall or cool nights, but with the leggings being light weight, they can go with anything and still look fabulous!

I really like the detail in the shirt because it's subtle, yet is easily visible from across the room. The zipper in the back allows a great fit no matter the head size, and for us that means no stretched collars to squeeze their heads through! The shirt is very soft to the touch and not too heavy considering it is a long sleeve.

Besides the arms being a little too long right now, this outfit fits her perfectly! She has plenty of room to grow and still wear the pieces, and looks so cute and comfy in this set! She mentioned several times how comfortable the shirt was, and how it wasn't too hot even though it's a long sleeve. The leggings are nice and stretchy, but yet hold their shape for all around comfort in playing and running around like a normal 7 yr old does.

If you like this pattern, they also have it in a dress like we got in May, a tank top if dresses aren't your little girl's style, and then of course these fun leggings! The tank is a little open in the back and features a super cute bow in the middle of that back.
