Potty Training Tips and Tricks with Pull Ups & Family Dollar

Having four children and potty trained two so far, I think I've learned pros and cons about potty training a toddler. With our first child I could see things that I never wanted to do again, so with our second daughter it went much more smoothly in her success. Now we're on to our third child who is three years old, and while she's being a little stubborn about the process, I wanted to share some tips and tricks to push our children along the way when it comes to being fully potty trained.

I feel as though you get what you pay for, and this is why I prefer to use Pull-Ups with my children. Pull-Ups training pants have unique patterns that fade when wet to help your child learn to stay dry, and the easy-open sides make it easy to for possible accidents. Since they’re stretchy it also allows children to feel like they're being a big kid because they can slide on and off with ease. New Disney designs feature Doc McStuffins, Ariel, Jake and the Never Land Pirates,Lightning McQueen, Sophia the First and more. Characters are an important part of the training process because your children see their favorite characters, similar to the joy of picking out their first big kid undies later down the line.

Off To School We Go! with Kohls

The heart of our company is Kohl's Cares. With gifts of talent, time and money, we're making our communities happier, healthier, greener places to live and work. Founded in 1962, you can shop in one of many stores or online to find the perfect items for you.

I have been a long time shopper of Kohl's. From being in elementary school and going back to school shopping, to now with my own kids and their special occasion needs and even winter coats, Kohl's has always been my favorite store to shop for high quality clothing that won't break my wallet. I couldn't contain my excitement when they agreed to work with me on a review because it was coming close to school time again and we needed some new updated wardrobe items for our girls. I was given $100 to shop and away I went scouring things for all four girls, but mainly our oldest two school ages children.

Little Toader Teethers

I received products for free in exchange for a review. All thoughts/opinions are my own!

Little Toader’s first line of products, AppeTEETHERS, were created based on a need they saw in the marketplace for safe, effective teething toys that weren’t so boring. They knew they wanted them to be safe, and highly effective in bringing relief to sore gums, but really wanted them to stand out.

While I have no little babies running around my home anymore, my best friend had her first child, a little boy, last December. I wanted to work with Little Toader when Mya was a baby but it didn't work out, so I was thrilled when I had the chance to let my bestie try their products with Trip. I linked three favorite teethers and Angelina was ultimately sent the chompin' chicken wing and baconease.

Talkin' Tattoos Tuesday: Week 102

Welcome to week 102 of Talkin' Tattoos Tuesday! I did an intro post where I explained my goal in posting these every week and how you can submit your photo to be featured. Check out the post if you need to refresh your memory. Since I've went through all my tattoos, now I'll be sharing photos I've found online, and the occasional viewer submission when they come in.

This is secretly how I feel on the inside! I have gaged ears, tried with a septum piercing, and have plans to cover an upper arm hopefully next year. All of this doesn't make me a bad parent, it just makes me look true to myself and that's what I want my girls to learn most. We're all different, but we're all amazing in our own ways. Your outside doesn't reflect your inside, and everyone is beautiful.

Later he and Rosie argue over a book and accidentally tear it. He doesn’t want to tell the librarian, but finally musters up the courage to do so. The librarian turns out to be very nice and he helps her fix the book. And Rosie gets her very own library card!

Squatchi: Foot Sizer for Kids

I received products for free in exchange for a review. All thoughts/opinions are my own!

After realizing that buying shoes online for her kids, although convenient, was hard without accurate sizing, Squatchi inventor Amy Carabajal bought a professional foot-measuring tool to solve her problems. Once other moms in her neighborhood realized she had invested in one of these devices, they were showing up to measure their own kids’ feet and that was when Amy knew something needed to be done.
With being a blogger, you can run in to the opportunity to review clothes and shoes for the kids, along with yourself. While I've been the same size shoe for several years, kids are constantly growing, so I loved the idea of having a Squatchi to help stay up to date on my girls' feet.

Not only did the thought cross my mind of being able to use this as reviews came in for shoes, but I love to shop online for special deals and the freedom to not leave my home, so always knowing their foot size would ensure I never had to guess or return an item once it arrived due to the wrong fit.

Sophisticated Time Pieces with Jord Wood Watches

I received products for free in exchange for a review. All thoughts/opinions are my own!

Watches are not just timekeepers; watches are statement pieces, watches speak to the style and personality of the wearer. JORD watches tell more than time.

My husband loves watches, but due to his career, a watch is something he rarely gets to wear. I've been a fan of Jord for a long time, so I was thrilled when I got the green light for a review with their company. I wanted my husband to have a nice piece to wear while off work, and enjoy the accessory instead of a cheap Walmart watch like he's always had in the past.
