As we approach the upcoming Holiday season, Mama's Baby Cupcakes has teamed up with several companies we think would be a great fit to purchase/wear/give to others in the upcoming months. Thanks to each and every sponsor showcased in our Holiday Gift Guide, and if you see the cute button above then you know its Holiday approved!
LuLaRoe is a fashion brand that specializes in women's and girls skirts, dresses and leggings. They also offer different kinds of shirts, kimonos, and more. They have nice solid prints, funky fun patterns, and sweet simple patterns to choose from.
I first heard about LuLaRoe through my blogging friend Heather from "Mommy's Favorite Things". I was complaining one night about my Wal-Mart yoga/stretchy pants falling apart and she suggested this company to me. She told some more about the company, showed me a variety of photos of herself wearing their products, and added me to some groups on Facebook. I was thrilled when I was able to review with Phil and Danielle (consultant duo) because I wanted to try the product before I started buying to ensure it was something I would love. I picked out a pink "Irma" and a funky fun pair of leggings you see above.
I was a little nervous about the pattern because I'm always so simple with my clothing, but once I got them on my whole attitude changed. Their leggings come in two sizes (OS or TC) and I got the TC for tall and curvy. These fit sizes 10-22 and not pregnant I'm an 18-20, 5'7" and over 200 lbs. They came up pretty high on my stomach if I stretched them, with room in the length and great fit for the legs. They didn't seem baggy or loose in spots and hugged me in all the right ways. If you talk with LuLaRoe fans they'll say "the leggings are buttery soft" and once you touch or wear a pair, you'll understand! They feel like they're a part of your body, so soft to the touch that you forget you're wearing anything, and so great that you can lounge in them or spend a day out running errands and be comfortable either way. These have a price tag (through my consultant) of $22/each or 2/$40.
This shirt is called "Irma" and I'm wearing a large. I love the flow to it, the great length with it, and the pink is a great shade. These shirts are cool because the back is longer to cover the tush, and the sleeves go to the elbow for light coverage. I did realize once I got it that it's a bit see through so I have a light pink tank underneath, but over all it's a total success!! As you can see at the top of my post, it looks great with jeggings or LLR leggings, and I've worn it a couple times now to spruce up my casual look on a good day. They come in a variety of colors, patterns, and sizes with a price tag (through my consultant) of $30.
Overall I too bit the LuLaRoe bug and have since bought two more pairs of leggings. I love that they have solid colors as well and plan to add some of those in my future stash as well. Being pregnant with baby #5, it's amazing to feel comfortable and cute in clothing, as well as having it fit before, during, and after baby!! Money well spent and I can't wait to add more.
The top two leggings I've recently bought and are coming to me in the mail from trade groups, and then other three would ideally be my next purchases along with a solid black pair.
