Founded in 1961 in Zug, Switzerland by Olle Larsson, Medela continues to grow under the ownership of the Larsson family today. Medela serves its customers through 18 subsidiaries distributing to over 90 countries worldwide. Medela’s U.S. subsidiary, Medela, Inc., has been serving the American market for 30 years.
Medela is proud to announce Medela Recycles, a program focused on helping moms who have finished their breastfeeding journey help another mom start hers.
Each pump received through Medela Recycles supports the donation of new hospital-grade, multi-use breastpumps and supplies to Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®). The goal is to provide moms with the same high-quality equipment they use at the hospital during their stay at a Ronald McDonald House. This consistency will ease the transition from the hospital to a Ronald McDonald House and give families caring for a baby in the NICU one less thing to worry about.

While this set may sound like a big investment with the $399.99 price tag, it's hospital grade quality and electric. Since it's a double pump this means you can do both breasts at once which allows you to pump quicker. It comes with a very nice carry bag to contain it all easily and securely while on the go, and because it comes with four bottles and an ice pack, you're able to pump quite a bit during your day.
Along with breast pumps, you'll also find a variety of other products available for purchase on the Medela website. They have an "Accessory Starter Set" which includes quick clean steam bags, pump and save bags, nursing pads, lanolin, a breastfeeding storage guide, and finally a magnet with timelines of storing milk. This set retails for $50, and then they have extra bottles and breast pads available for purchase as well.
I really like the breastmilk bags because you can pump directly in to them. This is a nice feature for mothers that want to directly store their milk, or maybe if you're on a weekend trip and need to preserve it. I think these are ideal for myself because I would like to try to build up a supply in the freezer in case of emergencies so pumping straight in the bag and to the freezer would make the most sense.
Whether you're a working mom or a stay at home mom, this easy expression pumping bustier is for everyone! Being able to be hands free while at work or relaxing during kiddo's nap time, this bustier zips in the front, allows for the shields to come through, and ultimately hold everything in place for a hands free session. Retail is $34 and worth it to provide what's best for baby but get some extra work done at the same time.
