Little Tikes Perfect Fit 4-in-1 Trike

I received products for free in exchange for a review. All thoughts/opinions are my own!

The Little Tikes Company was founded in 1970. It is a multi-national manufacturer and marketer of high-quality, innovative childrens products. In November of 2006, Little Tikes became a part of MGA Entertainment. Our headquarters and largest manufacturing facility are located in Hudson, Ohio. We also have a number of manufacturing and distribution centers in Europe and Asia. Our goal is to create and supply innovative products to customers and consumers around the world.

While we're still currently in January and crazy snow weather, let's fast forward to Spring with this amazing product from Little Tikes. I've always loves their brand because the toys last for years and hold up just as well after five years of use as they did when brand new. My newest review is a fun one for me because it is something I can not only use with two of my children now, but also something I'll use next Spring when baby Max is here!!

The Perfect Fit 4-in-1 Trike is an fun item for parents with small children or a big family because it grows with age and can used several times with some quick adjustments depending on the stage you need.

I wasn't surprised by the amount of pieces since this is a 4-in-1 piece of equipment, but some pieces I'm so glad were labeled what they were because I wasn't sure otherwise. I was surprised to time us and see it took over an hour to get it together because my husband had a lot of problems in the beginning getting everything to line up for the screws so you'll want to build this when you have time and don't feel rushed to complete quickly.

This front image of the instruction booklet was probably my favorite part because I'm a very visual person and love when it can be explained this way above. While the book inside is more detailed about what goes where and all pieces are labeled, this gives you a quick insight in to what you'll be doing and I wish so many more companies did books like this!

The back wheels and brakes were by far the hardest and longest part of the whole process because you have to line up the tire and the brake at the same time while putting a tiny little screw in to hold it all together. After this step however, everything seemed a lot smoother and it all went right in to place!

Stages 1-3 may look the same but there's a couple different big points about each stage that make them unique. Stage 1 is a guided mode for 9+ months where you push and control the trike with the blue waist bar in place so the child is unable to turn the wheel. Stage 2 is the learning mode for toddlers where they can learn how to pedal but they are unable to steer and turn the wheel because you're still in control with the attached handle. This is pretty easy because you simply remove the grey foot rest and unlock the pedals so they can move by the child instead of free flowing by pushing the trike. Stage 3 is more of a developing stage for children 18+ months where you remove the waist bar so the child can now steer while parent still has control with the push bar. Once they learn how to pedal and steer together well, you're ready for stage 4 which is the trike!

I really like how well everything fits together once it's actually put together. When you steer with the big handle, it does seem to have some movement to it, but over all it's easy to control and go where you want to go. My older girls can easily push our youngest daughter who is two and get around with ease.

One thing I'm excited about with this special 4-in-1 trike is that it'll be great for our son next Summer! His estimated arrival is the first week of May so he'll benefit a lot from this trike right at it's suggested age to start using which is 9 months. I can't wait to push him around outside while his sisters ride their bikes and enjoy the outdoors as much as we can.

You can the Perfect Fit 4-in-1-Trike online through the Little Tikes website, or in certain stores like Target and Buy Buy Baby. After using the "find a retailer" on their website, it seems as though Buy Buy Baby is quite more expensive compared to other stores and sites. Coming in two colors of teal or pink, this trike's MSRP is $99.99 and then additional shipping depending on where you buy.

I think no matter how many children you have in your home, this is a good investment. For basically $100 you're providing a piece of riding equipment until they're 3+ years old. That breaks down to a good yearly amount and you end up saving in the long run. If you're like us and have children that can use it now plus more children in the future then you're just saving even more. Little Tikes toys last and last very well. We have toys that are 7 years old and still holding up just fine because of this brand so I can see this Perfect Fit 4-in-1 Trike lasting us for several years as well, especially with our son Maximus.
