Michelle's Pregnancy Journal: Week 37

There is only an estimated 3 weeks left of this pregnancy and I cannot believe it! My body and mind has been put through quite a bit, but as this home stretch closes in, I can't help but have mixed emotions about the next journey that's starting. It'll be a huge change for us all having a baby in the house again, especially a little boy, and I know we're all excited about this next step!

I had my Beta Strep test done yesterday so I let them go ahead and do a cervical check like they wanted to and it shows I'm 50% thinned out and 1cm dilated. I know this means I could have him in a few days or go over due, but it's a nice starting point.

I will be choosing to decline the cervical checks through out the next few weeks unless there's a medical reason as to why I should be checked. While my doctor that delivered our girls has passed away forcing me to find a new doctor, with my last two pregnancies my doctor's exam's put me in to labor, so I'm choosing to try to let Maximus truly choose his own birthday by letting my body naturally progress and work how it's supposed to.
