Sara Lee Snacks: Peanut Butter Crème Filled Cakes

I received samples for review purposes. All opinions are mine.

Sara Lee Snack Cakes are a delicious line of individually wrapped snack cakes that come with our baked fresh to go promise. They’re easy to pack, convenient to carry and come in an ever-growing variety of snack types and flavors. Our line currently consists of Devil’s Food Crème Cakes, Golden Fudge Cakes, Chocolate Crème Cupcakes, Golden Crème Cakes, Buttery Sunshine Cakes, Crumb Cakes and Cheese Topped Crumb Cakes.

I am a girl who loves sweets! Whether it's after a nice meal, a bad day, or even a good day, we almost always have something sweet in our pantry. I was thrilled when we got the chance to work Sara Lee and try out their Peanut Butter Creme Cakes. Not only is it nice smooth chocolate, but with a hint of peanut butter, it offers two sweet but very different flavors.

As you can see, there's a nice outer coating of chocolate, and a layer of peanut butter creme filling centered in-between moist cake. I kept these in the fridge to stay on the cool side, and it added a little extra pop to the flavor. Coming as six to a box, they don't last long around our big family, but they're great for a small treat after dinner. I cut one bar in half so I only used two for our four girls and they couldn't get enough!

Made with real peanuts, these new snacks are fairly new, just released in April, and are at a variety of stores near you! I found them at our local Kroger store in the cakes section, and you can find Sara Lee at other chains like Walmart or Target as well. Retailing for around $4 a box, you're sure to enjoy this tasty treat whether it's on the go or relaxing at home!
