I received products/compensation in exchange for a review. All thoughts/opinions are my own!
Zoey’s Attic officially launched in November 2006 by creator and owner Erin Delanty. The inspiration for the website came shortly after the birth of their first child. Once they decided to grow their family it was a no brainer to have the store where families could come and get personalized items for children of any age!
I'm sad I didn't think to take a photo of these together on the anchor background
While I've been quite the supporter of Zoey's Attic for four years now, I've showcased a lot of their clothing on the blog both through reviews and through my own purchases. With the upcoming arrival of Maximus, I was thrilled to branch out and try accessories they offer through their ever growing company.
As I'm sure it's well aware at this point, Max's bedroom theme is anchor/nautical with the main colors to be red, navy, and grey. I thought this combination would go over well for several years because the colors can grow with him and anchors can easily be replaced as he gets his own personality when he's older. One thing that will stay the same is the awesome wall decal I was lucky enough to review from Zoey's Attic and it matches his room perfectly.
Since the wall is quite large, I was glad Zoey's Attic offers the wall decal in a variety of sizes. Because the over all size of the wall is 93", we went with a 36" decal to fill up the space nicely and be big and bold on the wall over all. I will admit his name is unfortunately crooked because the paper around it was large and uneven. It appeared to be straight when we put it on, but now looking back maybe we should've cut the paper down or triple checked that it was for sure straight. Since we do have cheap paint all builders use, we have to be careful about applying and then taking off because everything rips our paint off the walls. Maybe in the future I can just order his name again or just "Max" so it's easier to align.
The over all process is very easy, starting with choosing your color choices. You can get a chevron anchor or a solid color choice, and then you can choose practically any size / color / even pattern combination you'd like, and it's completely customizable for font and ink colors to match your decor as well! There's several sizes to choose from and that ultimately ranges the price from $30-$75. They use a super high quality decor fabric matte vinyl that is a thick nice quality for easy installation and removal, and then once it's made Zoey's Attic ships quickly! Mine in a tube so we laid it flat for 24 hours to make it easier to hang, and then with their included squeegee (with signature Zebra on it) the installation is quick! I really do love this wall decal and look forward to seeing it daily for years to come!
Along with the wall decal, we were allowed to review their new monthly stickers that have been recently added to the Zoey's Attic website. I really loved the Nautical stickers and of course they matched him perfectly, and I can't wait to use them each month. I misplaced them some how and just recently found them a few days after he turned two months old, so that's the photo below and I'll be doing some doctoring to get pictures of the other stickers on past photos. I'll collage them all on his first birthday and I can't wait to see how much he grows! They offer a handful of stickers in the baby gifts section, and there's a little something for everyone. They offer a nice affordable price of just $15 and you can easily stick it back on the paper and save for other children or pass on to friends and family with their babies if possible.
I love Zoey's Attic and the work Erin does for her customers. This company will always have my support, and we're lifelong customers, as well as blog supporters!
