The Lily Nily Story
In Summer of 2011 brothers Mark and Jay came upon the realization that there was a need for quality fashion jewelry for girls. They conceived of a line of jewelry that little girls would find precious and adorable – and that their parents would find adorable on them. The collection includes bangles, bracelets, pendants, necklaces, and earrings, all adorned with a little bit of just about everything that little girls love.
As a mother to four little girls, I was intrigued when I heard from Lily Nily with a review offer. Our oldest two children are 7 and 8 1/2, and very much at the age of accessories. While our oldest daughter is the definition of a "girly girl" her younger sister can be more on the "tomboy" said, but I found the perfect items for them through Lily Nily and couldn't wait to receive in person!
This beautiful heart station necklace is crafted of high polish 18k gold plating. The necklace features 5 brightly colored hearts and it secures with a lobster-claw clasp. It comes in a couple different colors and then the multi color of pink and white like I got my daughter. She will be nine in October and loves jewelry. She also loves pink and hearts, so this necklace was a no brainer choice. It's a little smaller then I thought it would be for her, but using the extension on the necklace helps it lay better. She wants to save it for school when they start back at the end of the month and can't wait to show it off to all her classmates. Retail for this five heart necklace is $40.
This dainty ladybug bracelet features a high polish 18k gold plating with a lobster claw clasp and multi-colored enamel ladybugs to form this beautiful bracelet. I knew it would be perfect for our second daughter who's had the nickname "bug" since she was little. It all stemmed from my mother buying her lady bug things all the time and when I saw this bracelet I fell in love with it. It's bright like her personality with the multi colors and lady bugs like her nickname, you can't go wrong with this beautiful piece. Retail for this lady bug link bracelet is $40.
