Maximus Update: 6 Months Old

Max was 7lb 7oz at birth, 9lb 4oz at one month, 15lb at four months, and at an early six months visit, he had a small increase to 17lb 5oz. He is quite the eater compared to his sisters and while he's slowed down on formula in-between growth spurts, he is obsessed with baby cereal. While we've tried a couple flavors of baby food, he is NOT a fan, so for now we just continue with our routine and I think he may end up skipping right to table food in the next month or so.

Entenmann's- Great American Milk Drive

Entenmann’s® is partnering with The Great American Milk Drive, hoping to deliver 100,000 servings of milk to children and families in need across the country! After all, donuts and milk are perfect together!

Entenmann’s® is proud to join The Great American Milk Drive in the “Entenmann’s® Donuts & Milk: Perfect Together Sweepstakes” helping deliver milk to those who need it the most. For every entry received during the “Entenmann’s® Donuts & Milk: Perfect Together Sweepstakes”, one 8 oz. glass of nutrient-rich milk will be donated to The Great American Milk Drive, up to 100,000 servings. Consumers can enter to win a variety of prizes during the Facebook sweepstakes, continues through October 31st. As part of the Facebook sweepstakes, 25 first prize winners will win a one year’s supply of milk and Entenmann’s® donuts and 100 second prize winners will win four boxes of Entenmann’s® donuts.

Founded by William Entenmann in 1898, Entenmann’s Bakery got its start delivering fresh-baked goods in a horse-drawn wagon. In 1951 home-delivery gave way to supermarket sales and the case at the end of the aisle was born. As a part of the Bimbo Bakeries family, Entenmann's continues to bake its famous donuts, cakes, pies and more every day, and freshness remains the hallmark of our products

A glass of milk always goes best with great donuts! My favorite through the Entenmann's company happen to be the 8 Chocolate Lover's Variety Pack Donuts. Since we were sent some coupons to help with this review, I knew this variety pack was a must! You have the rich great taste of chocolate with added extras like sprinkle, powdered goodness, and chips of chocolate! It can be hard to choose which one you want because they're all so delicious!

Lucky for me, our girls love the plain donuts and their normal variety pack. This gives everyone a favorite to choose from, and with four growing children, two each is more then enough to fill their tummies!!

Entenmann’s Little Bites are pre-portioned, good choice, multi-piece snacks that satisfy both parents and kids. Every Little Bites pouch is filled with bite-sized baked muffins that contain 0g trans fat, no high fructose corn syrup, are certified Kosher and most Little Bites are 200 calories per pouch or less!

One more fun product I wanted to share today is their yummy Party Cake with white frosting and colored sprinkles. They offer so many varities in all areas of foods, but their cakes are especially sweet. Our girls love the Party Cake because it's colorful, fluffy, and so moist!

While Entenmann's can be a little on the higher priced side, they're well worth the money because of their great quality and amazing flavors. You can find Entenmann's in just about any store including Kroger, Marsh, and Walmart just to name a few. The stores do vary what they carry and some items we couldn't find at one store, we easily found in another store.

Introducing Solid Foods to your Baby with Gerber

Maximus is now five months old and exploring all kinds of new things. Now that he's rolling over, holding his head up, and has become a supported sitter, it was time for solids! There for a while it seemed as though Max could never get enough formula, so I was happy when at a recent check up his Pediatrician gave us the green light for GerberCEREAL. I've always opted this plan for our children because it's like the gateway to food! Since it's packed with iron, it's great for baby and a good way to slowly work on eating without sacrificing their main source of nutrition.

I always wait until my babies are at least four months old before introducing their first solid, baby cereal. My favorite part about cereal is that you can determine how runny or thick you want the mixture to be, you can use breast milk or formula instead of water, and it helps teach them how to use their tongue, lips, and mouth for a food source.

Celebrate our 5th Blogiversary with Alley+Rae

Alley+Rae Apparel is a modern lifestyle brand handmade in Utah. Our mission is to spread positivity and create clothing that speaks to you. We want each piece to make a statement about the person that wears it. We love to incorporate bright colors, fun graphics and encouraging messages into our designs.

As a mom of five kiddos, my life is constant crazy. From trying to get everyone to do simple things like eat breakfast, to getting everyone out the door for appointments on time, I'm always doing something or helping someone. Motherhood never stops!

I love looking around my favorite websites and two shirts caught me eye a while back that I just couldn't stop laughing at. They fit my life completely and I can't help but laugh and agree with them completely.
